It is rare for us
To board the same airplane
In a lifetime
But why do all planes feel the same?
The same smiles on the flight attendants,
The same kindness in their eyes
The same smell of food
The same feel of the seat
The same airplane sickness
It is rare for us
To see the same plane cross the sky
At two different times
But why do all planes look the same?
The same wings and tail
The same loud buzz that make us cover our ears
The same feeling that fills us
As we watch it fly across the sky
Like a bird
