KIM YUGYEOM
Nobody is exactly sure how this ship came about, but Yugyeom is very fond of Yoonji (a little too fond Chan sometimes thinks), but nevertheless, they are both good friends. He always talks to her whenever they see her and has stated in an interview that Yoonji is really down-to-earth once you get to know her. The fans mainly ship them as good friends.

MARK LEE
Now this is the most popular ship between Yoonji and a member outside of the group. It all started when Mark confirmed in an interview that Kim Yoonji is his ideal type. Of course, the NCT members just had to tease him about it. Fans have also noticed the not-so subtle glances that Mark sends towards Yoonji at award shows.

CHOI YEONJUN
Yeonjun and Yoonji are good friends, both having been introduced to each other by Changbin. They find each others' presence fun to be around and both enjoy telling the other about their member's antics. They also share their love for mint chocolate together.

ITZY
Yoonji and Itzy are best friends and always will be. They were the first people she trained with and they grew extremely close before Chan wanted her to join the boys' team. Whilst the girls were upset that they would have to go against each other in the showcase, they supported each other as much as they could. Yoonji is Itzy's number one fan and was the first to congratulate the girls on their debut. It's also not surpising to see Yoonji joining the girls on days out together to 'get away from the boys' mess'.
