"Say a few words, and you lose control,

I'm a hex girl, and I'm gonna put a spell on you,

I'm gonna put a spell on you,

I'm a hex girl, and I'm gonna put a spell on you,

You feel the fog, as I cloud your mind,

You get dizzy when I make the sign,

You wake up in the dead of night,

Missing me when I'm out of sight,

I'm a hex girl, and I'm gonna put a spell on you,

I'm gonna put a spell on you,

I'm a hex girl, and I'm gonna put a spell on you."

I belted out the lyrics, jumping around in the mosh pit that's formed in the front of the stage. "These seats are amazing! Don't you have to be a scalper to get front-row for the Hex Girls?" Daphne shouted over the music. "Nope, you just need to know Velma," Fred said with a laugh as he gestured to her. Velma was jumping the highest of all of us, shouting and whipping her hair around.

"I love you, Hex Girls!" she shouted.

"Scooby-Doo, you're in my shot!" Shaggy complained from next to me. Both he and Scooby were taking videos of the Hex Girls performing and Scooby purposely kept getting in front of Shaggy. "Scoob!"

"What's wrong with Scooby?" I asked him. "Like, he's mad at me because I went to the prom with Velma instead of watching the Vincent van Ghoul marathon with him," he explained, and I rolled my eyes a bit. I was still miffed that he hadn't broken up with Velma yet, despite the ample opportunities he's had.

Suddenly, the speakers started going haywire, and the lights flickered out as the Hex Girls finished their song. Then, there was a flash of light, and what looked like lightning struck the stage. In its place, stood a figure in a golden, steam-punk type mask and a glittery cape. The crowd fell silent, watching in anticipation and shock. "Who is that?" Shaggy asked me. I shrugged and got out my own camera, taking pictures of the event in case I covered it for the school paper.

"Listen, Hex Girls, carefully," the Phantom began, his voice loud and slightly raspy. "You are bound for misery. This will be your final show, or you will suffer endless woe. So sayeth, the Phantom!"

"No one tells the Hex Girls what to do," the lead singer, Thorn, said into the microphone, before striking a loud chord on her guitar. The bass player, Luna, and the drum player, Dusk, followed her lead and they continued playing their music. The entire crowd continued to cheer. Velma was even being held up by other people as she was cheering like a madwoman. Thorn put her foot up on a speaker and raised her arm, making the entire crowd get even louder.

The Phantom started laughing and held up his hands with big balls of electric light. He fired the light at the speaker right behind Thorn, and it caught fire and began to fall as the Phantom disappeared in a cloud of smoke and light. The crowd gasped and I covered my eyes, not able to watch what would happen.

"Thorn! No!!" Velma cried, stock still now as everyone watched the show unravel. It landed right on Thorn, knocking her unconscious, and the entire audience scrambled out of the building, now screaming in terror. We kept getting knocked around until it was only Fred, Daphne, Shaggy, Velma, Scooby, and I left.

"C'mon!" I said and led us up onto the stage to help get the speaker off Thorn. Shaggy, Fred, and I made it there before security, and as we lifted it, Velma and Daphne pulled her from underneath, and we let it fall. "Hey guys, thanks," Luna greeted, both her and Dusk taking Thorn's arms. "Wow, small world," Dusk commented as they led us backstage. "No kidding. Thanks again for the tickets," I said.
