Taehyung sent several spells flying towards her but Jisoo raised her arm and a shield formed in between her and the dark spells. The two of them dueled, an intense fight in the small space that kept her on her toes. Spells and curses and hexes flying back and forth between the two, and all the while as they did, Taehyung never broke eye contact with her. She could sense it; the intense, burning hatred lying behind his irises. She's just not quite sure to whom or what he's projecting it to, but it sure feels like he's projecting it to her at the moment. His eyes look so different and his expressions almost terrifies her to the point where he looks like a completely different person, but she's not backing down.
You hate me? Jisoo thought bitterly. Well, I hate you even more!
Green light flew out from the tip of his wand and he flourishes his hand in a grand gesture before aiming his wand at her, sending the spell barreling towards her.
Jisoo widened her eyes in surprise, hastily putting up a more powerful shield to defend herself. She blocks it successfully, but if she had been a second too late in reacting, she would have been dead.
He sent a killing curse...
She can't believe it. If that had hit her, then both of them would be dead by now. She doesn't know what shocked her more: the fact that he would have broken the unbreakable vow between them or how he was willing to take the risk and kill the both of them.
She looked at him, absolutely horrified at how blank his face had gone in the next second. His furious eyes and snarling expression were wiped clean, and he was staring dimly at her. That spell meant nothing to him and Jisoo would have been just another dead body in the pile of dead bodies Taehyung has collected, just like the Minister had told her when she accepted this task.
She can't wrap her head around the fact that he just tried to kill her after he made that vow, after everything he's done to her. He just wanted the easy way out, huh? He was a different breed of evil.
"You monster," she heard herself say and she could feel her hands shaking.
"Jisoo!" When she glanced at the sound of Johnny's voice, she immediately regretted it.
"Fli - Flippendo Duo!" She stammered out, but it was still able to knock Taehyung off his feet, sending him flying backwards as his side collided with the yacht's steel railings.
This gave Jisoo a few seconds to turn around and she saw Johnny being outnumbered, it was 3 to 1 and it was evident that he was getting tired. He was holding it out till the last ounce of his strength. "Shit," She looked back at Taehuyng who was already getting up on his feet.
He lifted his head and their eyes met, a static charge of electricity lingering in the space between them. It was deadly, volatile and absolutely dangerous. It had been there since the beginning, but it was in this moment where the two of them realized it at the same time. He's looking at her and she's looking at him, all the while as chaos reigned down around them, all the while as the charge of electricity scorched their destinies right in front of them, all the while as Jisoo's heartbeat slowed and Taehyung's gaze hardened into a glare.
It was taunting them; two opposite poles practically begging to collide head on one more time.
Taehyung look like he expected her to step forward and meet the need of the static charge that had been pulling them towards each other since day one, to get back at him because of the killing curse he sent her but instead she turned around and ran.
"Fumos!" A cloud of smoke erupted from the tip of Jisoo's wand, engorging the entire ship in a defensive opaque fume that attacked her enemies but not the caster. There were screams coming from all around her. She rarely used this spell, it was only for emergencies and this was definitely an emergency. She needed to tweak their plan a little.
She knelt down and reached to grab Johnny's hand as the mobsters and Taehyung were temporarily distracted.
Jisoo threw Taehyung a look.
And with the last bit of her strength left, she and Johnny apparated out of the chaos.

They landed in Diagon Alley but not in the way Jisoo had planned. Johnny was unconscious and bleeding, the hand she was holding onto suddenly turned cold and his face went paler and paler by the second.
"Hey, hey," she patted his cheek continuously but he emitted nothing more than a groan of pain. She tried to lift him up to check where the blood was coming from but he was too heavy for her to lift and most of her strength had already been used up in apparating so far. Even her own body felt heavy to her as she tried to stand.
She let go of his hand and grabbed her wand. "Johnny, Joh -" But then her wand suddenly flies out of her hand and skids a few feet away from her.
She had just been disarmed.
Jisoo whipped her head around and her breath is caught in her throat.
Taehyung stood there in front of her, his wand pointed straight at her face.
