Welcome to the second edition of Unbroken, the second book in the "Unfettered" series.
If you haven't yet read Book 1 (Unfettered), I highly recommend you start there. Otherwise, it may prove difficult to follow along plot-wise.
Some important things to know about this book BEFORE YOU READ:
1. There is frequent explicit sexual content. This includes wax play, bondage, and graphic sexual depictions. If you aren't comfortable with this, or if you are under 18 years of age, please do not read this story.
All chapters with explicit sexual content are designated with asterisks to enable easy skipping.
2. There are spoilers for the MCU, primarily through the first Avengers movie. Please don't read if you don't want spoilers.
3. This series takes place after Loki's attack on New York City. As I mentioned, reading book 1 will help you to understand the timeline. As such, I have clearly altered the Marvel timeline, and am taking my own liberties with the plot. However I do try to stick as close to canon facts and Norse mythology where possible.
4. Obviously, I don't own anything here besides the plot and my original characters (the MC, Herkja, Erland, and Thyra).
5. Average word count for the first edition per chapter was 1,831 words. Total word count for this piece was 115,367, excluding the author's notes. This will obviously change for the second edition, but you can use it as an estimation. That means you're embarking on a journey approximately 384 pages long. Bon voyage!
6. To create a seamless reading experience, I won't be leaving notes in the chapters (beginning or end). But I'd love for you to! Please leave your commentary, thoughts, and votes to help me understand where I'm doing things well, and where I can improve.
