It was another day, the boyz were preparing for RTK. It was getting too repetitive for Jacob and too tiring to motivate him to get up from his bed in the morning. His body was aching all over and he was especially tired mentally but he had to keep his smile and pretend to be happy for his members. He had to be the angel and caring member in the group, he didn't even allow himself to cry not wanting to make them worry, he was so good at hiding it that none of the members noticed it... well except for one

Jacob's fake smiles could fool anyone but him, he was getting worried as days pass and his hyung seems to be getting more tired. Hyunjae wished he could do something but when you have someone like Jacob, who tends to hide things and avoid conversations about his mental and physical pain, in your group, it's hard to do things.

Hyunjae decided that the only time his hyung would listen to him is when he is the most vulnerable. So at the end of the day, after their hectic schedule for the day, when Jacob was lying on his bed too tired to think properly, Hyunjae laid next to him, hugging him.

"It's just that...all of this work and our schedule is draining me...i WANT our team to succeed and get number one and it tires me so much that it gets hard for me to keep up my usual cheerful persona...I'm so tired but if not me then who will be the angel of the group? Who will cheer them up and lend a shoulder? I don't want to let anyone down-"

"Cobie you're not letting anyone down, and you don't have to always be OUR shoulder to lean on, lean on us too sometimes... we're all worried about you." He squeezed jacob between his arms "You not telling us what's bothering you and not even showing that you're hurting, hurts us more, I'm not the only one who noticed yknow? It was silent for a few seconds before jacob let out a sob and responded in a small wobbly voice

"...Okay..."
"Promise me hyung"
"I promise..."
Hyunjae smiled then pulled the angel closer to let him cry on his shoulder
