[Prologue]

Have you ever heard, or read, or watched a story of a girl with unspoken love for her bestfriend?

Yeah. I'm sure you've had. It's pretty common, so I suppose I shouldn't have asked.

My name is Jade. Last name is Hart. As you can see, I'm a girl, 17 years of age, who's trying to survive teenage life both in school and at home. You know, the usual.

Oh. Did I mention that I was once in love with my now super famous bestfriend Clark Stephens? (Well, ex-bestfriend is more like it as of today.)

Yeah. But like every other story, he didn't know.

I've tried to show him countless of times before. Trust me. But alas, fate forbade us.

So, here I am. Babbling about my feelings as if they mean nothing.

Heck. They're all but nothing. I don't think I'm scared of rejection. But I'm not saying I can accept it easily too. But since he's changed and totally acts like I don't exist, I hate him now and I'm not letting myself fall for him ever again.
