With family and friends
Yelling, "Go team!"
Shining upon us
Is the autumn sun's sheen
On lawn chairs and bleachers
And in the stadium's stands
Hearing, "Touchdown!"
And raising our hands
Standing beside my friend
Then jumping up and down
On our faces
Is no sign of a frown
Loving the season
With family and friends
The waiting for autumn's football
To come again
