-Kacee-

I was pretty full after I was finished with my slice of cake. After all, I did have a sandwich with a glass of milk.

The shop was pretty empty and I was glad because I didn't want to bump into any fan that would go completely nuts over Zayn (except for that cashier). I mean I don't have anything against them just that it was a little too early for me. My watch begged to differ though, it was already going to be noon. How long did we take? Pretty long I guess.

"You ready?" Zayn says offering me his hand.

"Yeap ready." I smile taking his hand. We both head to the door and he opens it for me. The streets have gotten busier and the sun was now fully out. We both walk in silence for a minute until Zayn speaks up.

"You know Niall has talked about you. A lot."

I smile at the thought. Niall was so great and he was really nice.

"Really? Good or bad?" I ask still smiling.

"He would never talk bad about you. Actually now that I think about it. Niall wouldn't talk bad about anyone." He lets a chuckle and smiles to himself. "He's a nice boy."

"Yeah, he's a nice guy and a really great friend." I agree with Zayn. I recall the time when he texted me, while I was still in my crisis. Even that small text had brighten my day a bit, he always somehow found a way to make me smile.

"You know, my mom and dad used to think that we had 'something' going on." I tell him making air quotes.

"Something like what?" He smirks obviously knowing the answer.

"You know what kind of something." I lightly push him and find myself laughing. He laughs along with me and places his arm on my shoulder. It's heavier than it looks like.

"Really? I do?" He jokes around.

"Whatever." I roll my eyes at him.

"No really. I was kidding love." He says removing his arm and looking at me.

"Fine. I can't stay mad at you." I fake pout.

"Yay." He says with the most hilarious face.

"There goes the morphed duck face again!" I burst out and he throws me a sassy look.

"Haha, you're funny. My face looks nothing like a duck."

"It does when you go like this." I tease him and try to imitate his face expression.

"Okay, now that looks like.... I don't even know what. That is really weird." He pokes my cheek.

"Oh come on like you're not weird." I poke his cheek back.

"I never said I wasn't." He smiles.

"Good." I smile back at him. "Anyways on another note. I asked the boys the other night but not you."

"What didn't you ask me?"

"Is it hard for you to deal with all this fame?" I ask him remembering my conversation with the boys.

"I wouldn't say it's hard..." He furrows his eyebrows searching for the right words. "More like a bit...difficult?"

I laugh at his response.
