"The Genarian and The Timekeeper. Come in. We have a lot to discuss" Harper hummed as the small tan cat opened the door wider for the three teens to walk into her small hut.
Marya smiled as she pulled her younger brother and cousin into the house. The living room had a nice cozy feeling with a fireplace lightly crackling to the right and a sage colored table with four chairs, one chair on one side, and three chairs on the other. The rug was white and fluffy, it felt like it Marya was walking on a bunch of cats. (No Pun Intended)
The cat was on her hind legs which Marya had never seen before and was very shocked by it. The four of them all took their seat. Harper on the side with one chair and Felicity, Tyker, and wounded Marya sat in the other chairs. Tyker held his sisters shoulder and elbow and leaned her down slowly to sit in the cushioned chair. Marya closed her eyes tightly and sat down breathing a sigh of relief after she sat.
Harper waved her paw and the pain vanished. Marya opened her eyes very quickley and lifted up her shirt to see only a scar, the pain was only a memory. The teens heart froze in shock as she pushed down on the scar and felt no pain.
"What the fuck did you do to me?!" She squealed pressing on the scar repeatedly harder and harder everytime she pressed.
"I healed you?" Harper replied as more then a question then an answer.
"Holy cow" Tyker said taking his turn to touch Maryas scar but once he made contact Marya swatted his hand away.
"Well no duh you healed me" Marya said putting her shirt back down and looking into the glowing eyes of Harper "But what did you do to heal me?"
"A magician never reveals her secrets" Harper winked and Marya heared a snort come from Felicity.
"Anyway, The reason you are here is because i have a prophecy." The she-cat spoke. sand licked her paw.
Silence fell around the teens. "Like, an actual prophecy?" Felicity spoke.
"Yes child." Harper said and she closed her eyes. The lights suddenly went dim and a lit candle appeared in the middle of the table the faint glow of the light eliminating all of their faces. As, she spoke the words were written with orange flames in mid-air.
"A Gateway is open, one that shall be not, an Artists heart will soon be gone, unless you an sing her a final song."
The candle disappeared and the lights came back on. Felicity nodded slowly, unfazed by the she-cats words. Meanwhile, Tyker and Marya were well, dumbfounded.
The red haired Genarian laughed lightly, noticing the teens baffled looks. "What? Never heard a prophecy before?" she asked. smirking.
"Ugh, no, we are sane thank you very much." Matya snarkily remarked, crossing her arms.
Harper smiled and waved her tail. "No, shoo shoo. And Felicity," The cat lazily opened one eye. "Meet with the council, they will want to hear about this."
~~~~~
THE COUNCIL ROOM WAS HUGE. Like, really huge. Tyker couldn't even begin to comprehend what he was looking at. i mean this is huge.
Felicity had led them to this big room, in the same building of the mess hall, but this was something else.
Huge marble pillars spanned across the room. golden lines crisscrossed around the walls, momentarily providing pictures of epic battles, or portraits of the gods and goddesses. Sometimes words in ancient script was written, then flashed, never to be seen again.
"This here is the council room." Felicity explained, walking down a rug. "The Peid House leaders all meet here to discuss important matters and such. This is also the place where we assign quests and missions." She explained.
As they walked, Marya noticed a marble statue of a god. His hands were bound, but that didn't seem to stop him from writing something in a book. Felicity noticed them staring and waved her hand.
"That is Dharus. he is the minor god of knowledge and writing. He was the one who gave magic to humans for them to use leisurely. Despite Tobias' rules he stole just a sum of the gods magic. He thought humans would use this for good, which was correct, but the gods believed giving humans this ability would damage our earth, which wasn't wrong." She explained. "But not right either."
Tyker nodded. Listening intently.
"So basically this guy broke the gods rules and gave humans magic." Marya summarized. Felicity nodded.
"Yes, but, he made a deal with him the tricky bastard." Felicity said, laughing. "He promised he would be forever responsible for humans actions, so he created organizations like this, houses that taught ow to use magic."
Tyker nodded, his mind whirling with facts as his timekeeper brain sorted them out.
"Yo! Felly!" Felicity looked up and made eye contact with a blond haired green eyed teenage boy.
The Genearians smile lit up. "Cullen! Whats up?"
the boy named Cullen fist bumped Felicity and she hugged him.
Marya widened her eyes and whispered to her brother. "Are they like, a couple?"
Tyker shrugged. "I don't know, ask Felicity." Marya turned to ask but Felicity just laughed, her arm around Cullen. "No sillies, this is my brother, He is also a son of Aviana." Marya 'oohed' and smiled. "SO is that why he ha green eyes too?" Tyker asked, puzzled.
"Yea, all of Aviana's children have green eyes. its kinda weird." Cullen said, smiling.
'Anyway," Felicity said smiling. "This is Cullen, my brother and he is on the council. Cullen smiled and saluted.
"Nice to meet you two-." He to Tykers hand and closed his eyes, squeezing tightly.
"uhh.." Tyker said slowly. Puzzled. Cullen then opened his eyes and smiled. "-Timkeeper, and-" He took Maryas and did the same. "-Genarian."
Tyker widened his eyes. "Wait you can..."
"read your magic levels? yup. its a specialty of mine. along with reading memories when i make hand contact."
Marya jerked back her hand. "Wait, what?!?" Felicity laughed this time and punched Marya in the shoulder lightly. "It takes like, 15 minutes for him to get a good reading if he is doing it leasurly. but it comes in handy via battle."
Tyker smirked. "Pretty cool man. So what Peid house you a part of?"
"Well," Cullen started. "Im the leader of the Time House."
"Time house?" Tyker asked. "I dont remember a time house."
"that's because its a Specitaly house. when you find out what kind of magic you have then that is what house you then move too." He nodded and MArya did so. "So like-"
Suddenly a loud bang was heard and Cullen rolled his eyes.
"All Council Memebers Please Gather Here! The Meeting Will Begin Now!"
