Chapter Twenty-Two

"Oi!" Mason snapped his fingers.

"You boned her ever?" She pointed.

"Why, you want to?" He raised a brow.

"Options."

"What? I thought you were strictly into men."

"I am." She laughed, "But that dumb look on your face is worth trying."

"It won't hurt you to be kind to me, you know." He shook his head.

"No fun in that." She shook her head, "Well, you go have fun in class." She started going past him but he wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her back.

"No." She fought.

"Yes."

"I don't want to."

"I'm not gonna listen to you."

"Mason, you dipshit." She hissed as he turned her around and started pushing her to walk with hands on her waist. She was fighting to stand but he kept pushing.

"Come on." He grumbled. Her feet stopped moving entirely and he stopped, twirling her around , he threw her over his shoulder.

"I hate you." She muttered.

"I know." He put her down, outside the class.

"Good luck, Al Pachino." He winked.

"You too." She turned and he took her arm, dragging her into the classroom.

Half hour in, Raina handed in the test and marched out of the classroom. He stared wide-eyed.

Did she even finish her test?

He kept writing. Having used the entirety of the two hours, he handed in his paper and jogged out of the room.

Stormy:

And he's done it.

Her text sounded just at the second he left. He snorted.

Mason:

Did you even finish your test?

Stormy:

Pfft. It was a piece of cake.

Mason:

It truly wasn't, baby.

Stormy:

Baby, Huh?

Mason:

Did I say baby? Must've been an auto-correct mistake. I meant, bitch.

Stormy:

Did you... just call me a bitch?

His smile faltered, unsure whether he'd crossed a line.

Stormy:

I'm so proud of you.

He rolled his eyes, releasing a breath of relief.

Mason:

Where are you?

Stormy:

Went home. I have work.

His smile dropped.

Mason:

Alright.

Stormy:

Don't pout, Smartass. I'm waiting in the parking lot. I'm letting you drop me.
