Starlight Aftermath AU
(Garroth's POV)
I felt the turbulence of the plane as it landed in Phoenix Drop. Everyone and I got our bags and exited the plane. We were all excited to see the rest of our friend group. When we entered the airport, I saw a dark blue tuff of hair run towards Travis, tackling him to the ground in a tight hug. I laughed at the sight. Vylad, Nicole, and Cadenza went to the rest of the friend group to catch up. My eyes scanned the airport for 𝘩𝘪𝘮. Who am I looking for, you may ask? My best friend Laurance Caleb Zvahl. The guy who's been my best friend since we were kids. The guy whose hair always smelled like cinnamon. The guy who always cooked for us. The guy who always comforted me whenever I was feeling down. The guy who's been my boyfriend since two days after the neighborhood play where we realized our feelings for each other.
I couldn't find him at first, until I saw that milk chocolate hair he always had in a small ponytail, those sky blue eyes that were filled with happiness, his sun-kissed skin. We see each other standing there, tears in our eyes.
"LAURANCE!" I say,
"GARROTH!" He says as we run to each other.
Flashback to 3 years ago at the hotel, where we saw each other after not being able to see one another all summer.
He jumps into my arms, I spun him around, as he wraps his legs around my waist while he kisses me on lips, and I return the gesture.
I held on to him tightly, wrapping my tail around him, not wanting to let go.
We pull apart as I finally set him down on the ground. We stare into each other's eyes as tears stream down our faces.
"I-I missed y-you so damn much Gar!" He says
"I-I missed y-you too, Laur!" Everyone in our friend group stared in awe at the sight in front of them.
Kawaii~Chan started fangirling "EEEEEEE! MY SHIPPPPP!!!!" Everyone laughed at her outburst.
I cupped Laurance' cheek, and wiped his tears away with my thumb.
"I heard everything that happened on the news...a-are you okay Gar? "Honestly...n-no, I'm not," I say as I start to cry again.
"B-but it'll get b-better... eventually." I say. Laurance pulls me into a tight, comforting hug.
"I'm always here if you need to talk." "T-Thank you, Laur" I say, resting my chin on top of his head.
