Behavior: SCP-17297 behaves like an average 24 year old with social anxiety but whenever he hears or sees something of a new language a new tongue will grow in his mouth somehow this doesnt interfere with speaking only with eating and drinking once a new tongue grows SCP-17297 mouth he shows a photograph memory for that language and how it works if a tongue is surgically removed there is a 50/50 chance that it will either grow back instantly or SCP-17297 will forget all memories relating to that language

Description/Image: an average 24 year old of Caucasian and Greek descent born with a tongue split down the middle all attempts to fuse them failed now currently has around 270 tongues in his mouth size of each tongue seems to correspond with how many others speak the language the tongue represents

Abilities: photographic memory of languages that he hears or sees, can speak perfectly fine despite having multiple tongues in his mouth, instantaneous growth of a new tongue when encountering a new language, can speak use read and write perfectly a language after encountering it once, can create new words that immediately become part of the language according to history

Significant Tests:

Test 1: SCP-17297 is given a small glimpse at one russian character

Result: SCP-17297 grew a new tongue immediately and was able to fully understand russian

Test 2: SCP-17297 was asked to make up a new word in the ancient latin language

Result: SCP-17297 created a word that was a latin equivalent to [EXPLICIT] immediately there was documentation relating to the word in history

Test 3: SCP-17297 listened to a small recording of a language made by Dr. Bright and SCP-105 to talk in the presence of SCP-323

Result: SCP-17297 passed out for a short time it is assumed that this is due to the language having no real constancy and being gibberish when SCP-17297 woke up the language was suddenly learnable and more refined but still somehow was the same gibberish

Discovery: SCP-17297 was first brought to the foundations attention when an agent placed at a hospital overheard talk of a man named Ivan who despite having multiple tongue like growths in his mouth was able to speak multiple languages perfectly Ivan was then quarantined and questioned by the SCP Foundation and later designated as SCP-17297

Origin: SCP-17297 has said that he has always been like this originally he only had two tongues and was bilingual knowing both english and greek and he had been able to speak as soon as he opened his mouth the first new tongues grew when he encountered his cousin who used ASL and looked at an old book that his mother had that was written in latin
