When the time got closer, I stepped out from behind the curtain and walked to my proper place on the stage. The crowd roared in what I'd hoped was approval, and I stood awkwardly since Felix hadn't come out yet.

The headquarters staff said I could just walk out onto the stage, but I still felt bad since I didn't say anything to the people. I guess I would later, when I actually became Luna.

I stared at my shoes and fumbled with my tie for what felt like an eternity when the crowd shouted again with a new enthusiasm. My gaze turned to them, and I saw that they were looking behind me. Nervously, I did the same, my breath catching in my throat when I saw Felix walking out to take his place across from me. He was handsome as ever, his hair slicked back but still appearing soft to the touch. He waved humbly as he crossed the stage, immediately taking his hands in mine once he reached me.

"Wow, you look gorgeous," he whispered, smiling brightly. "Are you nervous?"

"Nervous is an understatement." My eyes locked onto the people below us and I internally shuddered.

Felix squeezed my hand, bringing my attention back on him. "Don't be. We're not here to put on a show for everyone. We're just being happy, and they have the special opportunity to witness that."

Soon enough, Xander, Elias and Aspen joined us on the stage and stood to the side in their formal attire. The three of them gave us a thumbs up and winked to show their support, and I found that my nerves relaxed at the sight of my friends. An older man soon emerged from behind the curtain, about to come between Felix and I but stopping a hair's length short.

The man turned to me first, reciting formalities before crowning me as Luna of the Shadowclaw pack. Aspen, Xander and Elias whooped and the crowd cheered loudly. I nervously turned towards all of the people.

"T-Thank you all for accepting me as Luna of the Shadowclaw pack. I haven't been here for as long as many of you have, but it didn't take me long to see how unified and full of pride you all are. I look forward to leading alongside alpha Felix as we continue the long period of greatness that's been upheld until now."

Claps and whistles filled the air, and I took a deep breath as I turned back toward Felix. He smiled brightly at me, and I wanted to pull my hands away from his. They were ridden with anxiety-induced sweat.

Almost immediately after my coronation, Xander came up with Felix's ring and Elias with mine. The old man took them both, giving my ring to Felix and his ring to me. They looked stunning and I couldn't wait for us to have them on. After a few more minimal preparations, the man began to speak and the wedding ceremony was in order.

"In this sacred union that we celebrate today, you will be bonded not solely by fate, but by choice. You are sun and moon. You are fire and water. You are light and dark. You are Alpha and Luna.

"Alpha," he directed towards Felix, "you are strength. Luna, you are stability. Together, both of you maintain the balance and support of the other. The envied bond that you both possess is unbreakable. The Moon Goddess has granted this connection to you both for life and eternity thereafter. Though your bond will undergo the movements of the tides, the moon's gravity will alway be the center of your union."

Felix gingerly took my left hand and placed the ring on my finger. It was gorgeous, a golden band with two gray, speckled, translucent gems enclosing a bigger one in the center. Felix recited short but genuine vows and elicited tears from my eyes. I tried hard to keep them from spilling and messing up Aspen's hard work on my makeup. Fortunately, I was successful.

I took his hand and did the same, placing his ring on his finger and reciting my own vows. Tears pricked his eyes, as well. Though he otherwise kept his composure, they soon streamed down his face.

"I hereby declare the sacred union between head Alpha Felix Greyblood and Luna Luca Greyblood complete."

Felix yanked my arm, startling me as his lips clashed with mine. We smiled into the kiss, the noise from the crowd around us completely blocked out as we kissed each other passionately. After a long moment, Felix and I pulled apart and looked into each other's eyes, knowing that this was only the beginning. His hand wrapped around my back as we exited the stage and I relished in his touch, my mate's touch.

This story is COMPLETE! Wow. If you've been here since the beginning, you know that I've had a notable rough patch. My motivation faltered and personal life kicked me in the face. I went from writing a chapter a day to once a month at most, and my posting schedule became wack as a result.

In all honesty, I didn't expect to finish this book. In fact, I thought that even if I did, it would only amount to maybe 30k words. To my utmost gratitude, this book is twice that length.

I couldn't have done it if it weren't for you all, my loyal readers. You've supported me and stood by this book even though updates went from twice a week to once a month (at most). And 200,000 reads?! I can't even put my gratitude into words, but thank you for so much support on my first novel!

I don't plan on MMT having a sequel right now, but I'm trying to come up with another story (a bxb romance, of course! PLEASE let me know if you have ideas 😭) If you enjoyed this story, please give this chapter a vote, comment your thoughts, and follow me if you're interested in my next book! I'll still be active here, I always am. - D ♡

P.S. This is what Luca's eye makeup and ring looks like! He has brown eyes, though :)
