Third person POV
Betty decides she wants to go to Veronicas- she wants to at least give Veronica some closure. Jughead refuses to let her go alone so hes coming.
As they are walking up the stairs betty feels herself get week and really tired. She grabs onto jugheads arm for balance
Bettys POV
I was walking up the stairs to the Pembroke and almost fell over. I grab onto jugheads arm to keep my balance
"Are you okay?" He looks at me
"Y-yeah i just got a little tired that's all-"
He nods "oh- here" he took my bag and let me hang onto him. We got to Veronicas room and she let us in!
"OMG B!!!" She screamed.
I slightly flinch considering how she scared me. She hugs me and I almost lose balance but jughead catches me
"Sorry!"
She invites us inside. I sit on the couch snd veronica sits with me. I wanted to be alone with her for a while so i needed jug to leave
"Juggie? Can you give us some girl time for a while?"
He looks at me sad and my heart almost shrinks. Im gonna miss his face "please"
He nods and kisses my check "ill be in the other room- no tears please" he leaves. "Veronica"
"Please dont he saying goodbye right now" i sigh "i dont have much longer vee please- jughead wont let me say it so just listen!"
Veronica nods. "Listen Veronica i love you so much and im sorry for putting you through all of this- im really gonna miss you!" A tear rolls down each of our faces
She chuckles and wipes it "i didnt think we were allowed to cry" Veronica says. We giggle
"God it feels like just yesterday we were making out to join the cheer squad junior year." Veronica says giggling. I giggle too
"Listen vee- i need you to do something for me! Its about jughead- he wont let me say sorry while im alive so-"
