He doesn't give any signs that he might even like her. He is nice for a minute and in the next minutes, it's like she was making him angry and he just turned moody.

"That's possible. It can be possible. He is human. He can have feelings too. It's fifty-fifty in hundred." Bayo answered. She looked at him and it was like she was doubting what he said and trying to believe it too.

He wished she knows the internal battle Demilade is fighting with his emotions. He seems to know what he wants but he seems to be in battle with what he is feeling and what he knows.

He believes it is a deal and he wasn't ready for any commitment which might come with heartbreak later on. But he is feeling something greater for Lola that he was still finding hard to comprehend and deny.

"It's possible. What will you do if it happens?" He asked.

Lola sucks in her lower lips between her teeth and thinks about Bayo's questions. The truth is, there was nothing to think about it. She has thought about that question countless times. And she already envisions how it would have been if it really happen. She knew she was just hurting herself and getting her hopes too high but she did anyway.

The only thing she was thinking about was why Bayo asked.

She answered his question. "That depends on Demilade. I can't decide that now. The only thing I am sure will happen is..... the status of our relationship will become true from being fake." And Bayo chuckled. She did too.

He looked at her. He knew she wasn't ready to put her hopes high.

"Fine." He gave up, grinning.

ayo sat on the little couch in his room. His daughter was asleep on his chest. He was busy tapping something on his tablet while his wife sat on the bed folding their washed clothes.

"Honey." She called.

Her husband looked up from the tablet and face his wife. She had stopped folding the clothes on the bed. A shirt was on her thigh.

"Yes. What is it?" He asked.

"I want to ask you a question."

He sat up properly and asked her to go ahead.

"I'm listening."

"Is your friend Demmy... did he plan to end things with Lola after the deal?" She asked.

Well, she had noticed how Demilade and Lola react around each other. She noticed something was off about them. And she was good at reading people. At first, she thought something was wrong with their relationship and they were pretending to be fine. But it doesn't look like it.

So she asked her husband. He wasn't ready to tell her anything about his friend's relationship. It took her a while to convince him to open up and he finally did. He told her about the deal they both made to be a couple for a month.

He studied her before he answered. "I don't know. I have not had any conversation with Demilade about it. He doesn't look like he wants to talk about his relationship with Lola." Because he is still not sure about it himself. He completed inwardly. He knows he will come around soon. But he can't tell what will happen.

"Why? You seem concerned about it." He said looking at her.

"They will make a beautiful couple. They look good together. His mother and grandmother like her. And I also like her too. And I can tell Lola has feelings for him." She replied. Bayo said nothing. "I just hope he is not going to lose a chance with her. She is still young and she is beautiful."

"This is a deal to Demilade, so I don't know." He stated. He wanted to hear what his wife have to say.

"Well, if you ask me, they like each other. Although, Demilade is very good at hiding his feelings." She said and she continued folding the clothes.

"Yes. Don't worry, I will talk to him about it. Although the choice is still his to make."

"I hope he doesn't lose her. She sincerely likes him and she is a good lady."

"Yes, she is." He also agreed. And he likes her as his best friend.

How many people are missing Demilade already? I don't know if he will be appearing in the next chapter. Let's hope so.

So what now? Everything seems to depend on Demilade. Lola's feelings do not matters if Demilade doesn't have the same feelings as her. I just hope he does not break my baby's heart.

I know you want all Demilade and Lola to be together already. I'm anxious as you too, but don't worry it will be happening soon. I don't want to emit anything from the storyline I planned. And forgive me if I am been slow with the relationship stuff. I kind of like the anticipation.
