Chapter 5: Panic

"Thank you again for this Jade" Loki smiles softly

"Yeah, your lucky I'm being this kind that's quite unusual for me, especially after what you've just done" Jade wittily states 

"Could you pull all the blinds down?" Loki asks as he tries to keep his composure before horribly breaking down

"Sure but if I get murdered I'll make sure to haunt you!" Jade says with a laugh as she pulls the blind down. As she turns her back to him for one second as she hears him start profusely sobbing

"I've messed up horribly" Loki pauses to take a breath as he is hyperventilating "Thanos is gonna have my head"

"Hey, hey listen it's going to be alright okay just breathe-" Jade starts but is cut off

"NO, IT'S NOT" Loki shouts causing Jade to flinch but he then calms himself for a second "No, it's not"

"I thought you didn't want to be heard or seen?" Jade questions as she starts to make him a cup of tea

"I don't" Loki states

"Then don't shout at me I'm trying to help you" Jade says as she slaps her hand on her head "Ungrateful twat" Jade mutters under her breath

"I'm not ungrateful I'm just, never mind doesn't matter" Loki says as he wipes his tears and takes a deep breath

"You mentioned a name" Jade pauses as she sits next to him and offers him tea which he takes "Fanobos? What does that mean?"

"It's a he. Thanos. He's an incredibly powerful man if you could even call him that. He sent me here to do a job and if I do not complete it" Loki pauses not wanting to explain

"You don't have to explain, you've already said enough" Jade replies with a small smile which he returns

"Thank you Jade" Loki mutters 

"Your welcome" Jade says whilst placing her hand on his knee

And as there having their sweet little moment they hear someone knocking on the door.

"HELLO IS THERE ANYONE HERE?" a deep voice yells as both Jade and Loki stand in an act of surprise

"Should I go down there?" Jade asks

"NO!" Loki whisper shouts "I know that voice anywhere It's my brother" Loki says

"Oh God.  HA LITERALLY" Jade pauses as Loki gives her a look "Sorry not funny" even though Jade found it hysterical 

✨with Kyra and Daisy✨

As Kyra and Daisy look across the street Kyra sees some big blonde dude with a cape BREAK DOWN HER ICEY DOOR WINDOW THING IDEK AT THIS POINT 

"OH FUCK NO" Kyra shouts as she turns and runs down the stairs to her coffee shop as Daisy follows her

✨with Thor✨

"Thor I don't think he's here" Steve replies

"Well he already broke the door so we might as well look" Tony adds

Without any warning Kyra taps Thor's shoulder and says "Quick question. Yeah, so WHAT THE FUCK ARE Y'ALL DOING IN MY CAFE AND WHOS ASS AM I ABOUT TO BEAT?"

"I'm sorry Kyra were looking for my brother, he's got-" Thor starts explaining but Steve cuts him off

"Wait your Cafe? I-" Steve tries to say but Kyra cuts him off as well 

"I DON'T GIVE A FUCK! BITCH YOU OWE ME A DOOR" Kyra shouts

"MOTHERFUCKER IT WAS ICE!?!?" Tony shouts entering the banner

✨Upstairs with Jade and Loki✨

"Has he gone?" Jade questions

"No I can hear them, there's more than one" Loki mutters

"I'm going down there" Jade remarks and attempts to walks away but Loki grabs her waist stopping her from leaving

"No you're not" Loki states in a stern tone as he turns her back around to face him.

✨Downstairs?✨

"Kyra. Imma need you to calm down" Tony states as he exits his suit

"Tony, I don't think-" Steve then gets cut off by Kyra slapping Tony

"Rogers" Tony pauses as he taps his face where Kyra just slapped the shit out of him "Handle this one"

Meanwhile, nobody noticed Daisy walk over to the counter and make herself a cup of coffee. "It's gonna be a long night" she thought to herself

"LOKI COME OUT" Thor shouts with no warning

At this point, Jade and Loki are waiting to see what happens but slowly getting closer to the stairs without being seen

"Can the three of you kindly exit my shop before I kick all three of your asses?" Kyra asks

"Steve I thought I told you to handle her" Tony hints 

"Whatever" Kyra says before she goes to hit Tony again but Steve grabs her wrist "BITCH"

"Kyra please understand, we're trying to find a murderer" Steve says and Jade overhears this

"WHAT THE FUCK" Jade shouts a little too loud and everyone head turns to the stairway where her left foot is visible. Without question, Thor rushes upstairs and sees Jade standing a few feet away from Loki looking horrified

"Now I really wanna punch this guy in the face" Kyra mumbles 

"Brother, what have you done?" Thor exaggeratingly asks  

"Jade!" Daisy and Kyra shout before Daisy grabs her and pulls her back over to them

"This is all a misunderstanding," Loki mumbles putting his hands up in a surrender 

"No, it's not" Thor remarks 

"Well, then what's your take on this brother?" Loki requests 

"I'd say you manipulated this girls into helping you and-" Thor starts but is cut off by Jade

"OK ThUnDeR bIrD HE CAME IN HERE FUCKIN SOBBING AND HYPERVENTILATING WHAT WAS I MEANT TO DO? LEAVE HIM?!" 

"Ma'am that's not what I'm saying" Thor starts but is cut off again

"SHUT UP MUSCLES I'M TALKING!! Okay chao anyways so, THE FUCK WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO LET HIM SOB ALONE AND NOT HELP HIM? WHAT KIND OF MONSTER DO YOU THINK I AM? HE WAS HAVING A PANIC ATTACK YOU IDIOT DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY'RE LIKE? CLEARLY NOT IF YOU THINK IT'S ACCEPTABLE TO LEAVE SOMEONE IN THAT STATE!"

"Okay pop off" Kyra and Tony sang at the same time before high fiving even though she slapped the shit outta him

"Well damn" Loki says before smirking and pointing to Jade "I like this one" 

"Yeah same" Kyra states 

"For real she the best" Daisy adds

"Off-topic dumbasses" Jade sasses before flipping her hair

"This is such an interesting night" Kyra complains

Finally, the seven come to an agreement that Loki is to return to Asgard (to which Daisy, Jade, and Kyra look to each other with confusion whenever it's mentioned) and the three decided to call it a night but before realizing their only place of rest tonight is in this very Cafe as not a single one of them knows where their wallets could be...
