Chapter V

=Alice Mei Oliveros' POV=

        "Eto na. Nagawa ko na" iniabot ko na kay Line ang recorder which is the lone witness of me asking Mav out.

        "S-seryoso? Ginawa mo talaga yun?" Line said with wide eyes.

        "H-hala ka Line.." narinig kong bulong ni Lane.

        "A-ate Alice.. h-hindi ko alam na seseryosohin mo..." nahalata ko ang pagpa-panic sa boses ni Line.

        "Ate?" tanong ko.

        Noong una naman di niya ako tinatawag na ate ah. It was always by my first name. Noong una I found it annoying kase feeling ko wala silang respeto sa akin kahit pa isang taon lang ang agwat namin.

        "Ikaw? Tutulungan namin mapalapit kay kuya? Hahaha!"

        "Try asking Mav out first~"

        "Ha? Why would I ask Mav out? Sa kuya niyo nga ako may gusto, hindi niyo ba ako naintindihan?"

        "Wala lang. Tingnan ko lang kung anong mangyayari, hahaha! Tsaka para may practice ka na rin Alice!"

        "P-practice?"

        "Hay nako Alice, bastaaaa~"

        "Ask Mav out, isipin mo dare lang namin tas pag nagawa mo may prize ka!"

        "Tutulungan ka namin with everything we've got kapag nagawa mo yun Alice!"

        But that doesn't matter right now. Actually, masaya ako ngayon na tinatawag nila akong ate. It feels like I'm their actual sister-in-law. Wait, what? Hala kaaa! Nakakahiya! Why am I having these thoughts?! I'm getting ahead of myself. No one read that part, okay? 

        And yes, sila ang younger siblings ni Lawrence. They were actually really close to each other, and I find it cute. 

        I kept quiet the moment they started listening to the recorder. Grr. Rinig na rinig yung mga hikbi ko. I actually sounded like a girl crying from rejection out there. Don't get me wrong. I was crying because Mav was so mean and scary. TT ^ TT

     I saw Line and Lane flinch when they heard Mav's harsh words.

        "W-whoa." that's all Line managed to say.

        "A-ate Alice! A-are you okay?" Lane asked with worry in her eyes.

        I smiled back at her.

        "I'll be better kung gagawin niyo na ang part niyo"
