Chapter Three: 'Flipping the script'

*BEEP BEEP BEEP*
"ugh shut the fuck up!" i yell as i threw my alarm across the floor. BEEP BEEP BEEP
"FINE ILL GET UP!" I got up and turned my alarm off the right way. I went downstairs and got food and i did my basic morning routine nothing special.

Anyway i headed to school and saw miguel and demetri but not eli. I was wondering if he's okay but i didn't worry much.
"ayeee y/n! what's up?"  miguel said in a friendly way.
"whadduppp miguel" i said as a joke. we laughed.
"hello y/n!"  said demetri
"hey demetri!"
"have you guys seen eli?" i said as i was observing the room to see if he was here.
"no not since yesterday." said miguel.
"no i haven't seen him." said demetri.
"huh weird..." i whispered.
"look don't worry about him i think he's fine!" miguel said as he was patting my shoulder.
"thank guys. i should get to class."
"yep i should too!" said miguel.
"same, i don't wanna miss science!" said demetri.
i rolled my eyes sarcastically and walked to class.
Lunchtime!
i went to our table and i just see demetri and miguel but eli is still no where to be found...
"hey guys. where's eli?" i asked in confusion.
"i don't know i haven't seen him at school at all!" said miguel.
i started to worry and started overthinking.
"what if he hurt himself?"
"what if he got hurt?"
"he talked to me like he was gonna be gone forever last night!"
"did he leave town?"

A lot of 'what if's' were running through my mind.
Did he leave me?
Miguel noticed that i was getting worried and overthinking by look on my face.
"Hey, he's okay. Don't overthink. Don't worry." Miguel said softly.
"What i'm not worried." i tried to lie so i don't seem clingy.
"y/n. your pupils grow wider when your worried or overthinking, you zone out." miguel said laughing.
"maybe he's... uhh- doing a science project? or he's at a doctors appointment?" said demetri trying to make me feel better.
"i'm not worried i just mi-"
RINGGGGGG
"bye guys." i said sadly
"bye! don't worry about him im sure he's okay."
said miguel.
"yeah don't worry. see ya later!" said demetri.
"thanks guys bye!" i said.
during my classes i was drowning in my thoughts.
What if something happened to him?
Is he okay?
Is he alive?
i was so distracted during classes i couldn't hear half of what my teachers were saying.
all i hear was
"blah blah blah math blah blah blah books blah blah blah numbers."
i'm lost. where did he go?

School was over and i went straight to cobra kai. i forgot to ask the boys if they need a ride because i'm so distracted today. Anyways i made it to cobra kai and still no eli...
i saw demetri and miguel once again.
"hey guys!" i said sadly.
"hey y/n! You okay?" miguel said.
"yeah i guess.i'm just worried about him" i said.
"he's okay. he'll be back. im sure he wouldn't leave you like this." miguel said while hugging me.
"QUIET"
oh boy here we go.
"Everybody fall in!" sensei shouted.
"we got three more absences sensei."
said miguel.
RING the bell on the door rang
i quickly look over to see if it's eli. It's a kid with a blue mohawk. Wait. is that eli?!
"ELI?!" i shouted.
"I'm back." he said with a smirk.
"holy shit" miguel whispered.
"ELI?! MY BINARY BRO?!" said demetri

"wait is that the kid with the lip?!" said Sensei Lawrence.
I ran over to eli and gave him a big hug.
"i was worried about you!" i whispered.
"well i'm okay, don't worry. i'm here." he whispered in my ear before kissing my forehead.
"Hawk." Sensei Lawrence said.
Hawk smirked.
"Alright, fall in love birds."
We laughed and he stood right behind me in the row i was in.
"You see that? That's flipping the script! you wanna become badass?! that's how you do it!"
Everyone was in complete shock! including me!
We trained for a couple hours and it was time to go so i was getting my stuff, then all of sudden someone hugs me from behind. it's eli.
"Hey 'hawk' " i said mocking him.
he kissed me and said "You can call me eli. But only you."
"we still need to plan our date! we aren't even officially dating yet!" i said happily.
"How about Golf N Stuff or the beach?"
"Golf N Stuff sounds fun!" i replied.
"Pick you up tomorrow at 8:00?" he said.
"yep!" i said smiling.
"alright i'll see you later then!" he said kissing me.
"yep see you later!" i replied and walked to my car.

i got home and put on my pijamas and i went to bed. i was exhausted. At the same time i was also relieved because i didn't have to worry about eli.
Anyway I went in my bed and next thing you know i'm outing a light.
