Chapter: 3

It was almost time of the ceremony before Jones came towards me.

“Babe, you look hot as hell,” He clenches his teeth as he lean towards me to smell my blood.

Jones is not a typical vampire that you would like to be with even though you are a full-time prostitute. He will drink all of your blood before you can even seduce him. He has been trying to hit on me for a couple of years after our little make-out session. Since then, he wouldn’t leave me alone even though I rejected him. Vampires (specifically males) can get infatuated so easily that it would be difficult to fight it.

  “Jones, aren’t you supposed to be on the presence already?” I said as I backed away from him.

“Yeah, but Frankenstein already took my position, since he has 6 brains, he knows how to interact with the audience than me!”  He made a fist with his hand like he was ready to fight.

“If only you have a brain,”

“Don’t mess with me, Liz!”

“I’m not, I’m just stating fact,” I said with a "duh" face.

“You have 5 mins before the ceremony start and there will be a surprise,” he grinned.

“What do you-” I couldn’t finish before he pushed me into the entrance tunnel.

The Entrance tunnel was so pitch dark that I had a hard time moving faster. It was turning so fast which made me dizzy then I heard noises as the tunnel suddenly went faster than before. Surprisingly, the tunnel stopped turning so I came out of the tunnel to see huge crowds applauding while standing up. They were all grinning with excitement drawn on their face.

" I wonder who they are applauding for?"  I wondered...for a second.

" Oh, wait..."

I was speechless which anyone can tell just by looking at my face. I bet it was priceless.

I looked dull to the crowds  as a man-like figure approached me.

“Welcome to our great, great everlasting ceremony, Ms. Lesley!”
