He lost her in a flood but his heart never wanted to agree. So he roamed in search of her, going from town to town, city to city, showing her picture if anybody knew about her whereabouts.
His relatives called him mad, stating he was in deep shock and wanted to enroll him in a psychological rehab.
Days passed, months flew and one day he found her in a town, eating food from begging, lying unbathed in a saree. When he reached her she refused to recognise him but recognised her son.
