Soulmates

Aren was peacefully sleeping, when his alarm clock rang,

He groaned, and covered his ears with his pillow, all while turning on his side.

He just hoped if he waited, the ringing would go away. But it didn't.

He groaned and sat up, and hit the alarm clock.

Causing it to break.

When he realized what he done, he once again groaned.

"Ah shit. Not again."
He muttered.

He grabbed his phone from the table stand, and checked the date.

September 2nd.

His birthday in fact.

"Oh. I forget."
He mumbled.

On everyone's 17th birthday, they get a soulmate assigned. Their would show up on a random area on your body.

He slowly got up, and walked to the washroom.

Once he was in, he closed the door behind him, and looked at himself in the mirror, incase the name was on his face.

Not there.

He lifted up his shirt, and checked his stomach.

Not there too.

He cuffed up his pants slightly, and looked at his legs.

Not there either.

He then looked at his right arm, and turned it over.

There it was!

His eyes widened at the name.

It read "Kaidou Shun"

"WOAH WOAH WOAH- WHAT!"

He quickly re-read the name, to see if it would magically change. Which it did not.

He felt his face grow overwhelmingly hot, and his heart was now beating faster then he's ever felt it beat.

"T-This can't be right!"
He stuttered.

See, he's had a tiny crush on Kaidou for a while now. He couldn't bring himself to admit it though.

"AREN GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE NOW! YOU BETTER BE DRESSED!"

He flinched at his Fathers yelling by surprise, and yelled a 'yeah one sec' back.

He stumbled out of the washroom, and hauled on his uniform.

His mind was still on his soulmate though.

He darted down stairs, and greeted his father.

"So, who's the soulmate kid? Cute girl?"
He asked.

Aren awkwardly laughed before responding.
