Chapter 3

Alex P.O.V

"Good morning." I yawn while saying this.

"Good morning. How was your sleep?" He asked

"Fine. How 'bout you?"

"Same." He said while flipping the egg over.

"You sure woke up early to prepare breakfast."

"Yup. You can't start a day with an empty stomach."

"That's right . Hold on I'll go change my clothes."

"Breakfast was delish!"

"Yup! Sure was. I can't believe you can cook."

"There's nothing to be surprised about for someone who lives alone."

"Oh, yeah. Why do you live alone? Where's your family anyway?"

"Oh they live abroad."

"Oh I see. You can live with me if you want."

"You sure? You'll have to ask your parents."

"I know. But they won't mind 'cause they love to travel the world."

"So you're always left alone?!"

"Yes." I said "So do you want to live with me or not?"

"Yes. If you're sure it's okay with you." He said

"I'm sure." I said

"Okay!"

"So you're telling me that Daniel is going to live with you." Emily said 

"Yeah, pretty much." I said "And please don't tell anyone 'bout this."

"OK."

"Em, I'm serious. Please don't tell anyone about this."

"OK!OK! I swear I won't tell anyone."

"OK. I believe you....But maybe I should have asked him to live right beside my house."

"Yeah. It's kind of weird for a girl to ask a guy to live with her."

"Yeah. I'll go andd talk to him later."

Daniel was having lunch with us. 

I was having the same. Chicken palabok, creamy mushroom soup and a coke float.

We were chatting while eating.

"Daniel. Remember what I told you about moving in my place?" I asked

"Yeah. What about it?"

"Well the thing is. I was thinking how 'bout you move to the house next to mine?"

"Oh, yeah. Sure. I just wanna know if your alright with it."

"Oh, I see" 

"Excuse me, I'll just go to the ladies room." Em said

"OK" - Daniel

"I'll come with you." I said as I stood up and followed Emily to the restroom.

"I thought he was really planning on staying with me" I said "It's so embarrassing"

"Yep. You should have seen your face it was so funny." Emily said while laughing.

"Em stop laughing. I just embarrassed myself. It's a good thing no knows about this."

"Yeah.'Cause if they know, they would have be laughing and teasing until the end of this school year."

"Yeah.Yeah. Now stop laughing." I ordered her.

"When Emily was done laughing We went back to the cafeteria.

When the bell rang we hurriedly went to our class.

"So...how was your day?" I asked 

"Normal." Daniel answered

"Do you need any help moving in?" I asked "I can help since we don't have school tomorrow." I offered 

"Sure. Thanks." 

"Don't thank me. It's the least I could do for a friend."

"OK." He said "Then can I sleepover for the night?"

"Sure."

"Thanks." He said "It's a good thing you didn't take back the offer you gave me."

"Of course . I keep my words."

"OK. Let's continue the conversation we were having last time."

"What did we talk about anyway?"

"About the person we like."

"Oh. If your talking about perso-"

"I was saying How 'bout telling each other the person we like."

"Oh." I said."I-I l-like y-yo-yogurt." I blurted

"What?"

"I like yogurt."

"No! You were supposed to tell me who you like."

"Oh! I thought you were asking what I like."

"No! You were just escap-"

"Come on! Race you home!"

"You'd sure do anything to not answer my question."
