April 21,  2017 a Friday night I was up waiting for it to be midnight because I was excited to turn 13. I just remember my brother doing homework for college and I was just watching a movie on my laptop. I started getting thoughts about death more which was weird because I never thought about death a lot but I ignored it. I just went to sleep at 1AM on April 22, my birthday.

When I woke up I just started chilling all day and watching movies. My family was planning to go to my grandparents the 23rd to eat cake and just chill.

When my parents and I were going to the car to go to my grandparents place. I was crossing the street, I saw a white car driving up and I had a sudden thought of staying on the street and wait for the car to drive and hit me. It was a white Toyota or a Honda

I was excited to go to school that Monday to see everyone because I just turned 13.

I'm in school at 8AM waiting for my first period to start. The teacher gets a call as a take my books out and tells me to the guidance counselor. I took counseling once a week so I didn't think anything of it, I was just confused why she called early because I usually go during 3rd period. Little did I know once I sat in my guidance counselor's chair, my life would change it's course

She started asking me if anything was wrong out of nowhere. Obviously I said every thing was fine but she says "It doesn't seem like it. Your weight dropped and so did your grades. Your grades were high 80's and 90's to 70's."

"It happens."

"Even so, you look more tired lately, your mood is way more down than usual and your teachers are saying you stopped doing work. You never had to study for tests but now you fail almost every test. Your friends brought up you've been texting weirder as if something happened or like you were a different person"

"Oh well, that's how kids are these days"

"Yes, maybe so, maybe the ones who need professional help. I already called your dad to come pick you up. Do you want to tell me how this happened before your dad comes ? Did someone touch you or something happened at home ?"

I started to break down because I was annoyed but like I kept saying "No, nothing happened. People's grades drop, it happens"

"Yes their grades may drop but not by over 20, 30 points in 2 weeks. It's obvious you're in some kind of distress"

In my head I was thinking about when I just stood in the street waiting for the car to come hit me the day before but obviously I couldn't tell her that cause she thinks I already went crazy.

I hear keys and footsteps in the hallway coming closer. I see my dad and a staff member walking him here. My guidance counselor told me to wait outside while she talks to my dad. Of course I was freaking out like crazy. My hands were sweating like crazy and my head was getting a little dizzy, I felt a bit sick to my stomach as if I was going to pass out but luckily I didn't. After a while I was fine but my guidance counselor told my dad to see a therapist and sent me home. Obviously I was pissed off but I realize it's been like this since the night before my birthday but I didn't know why. But I noticed after that my life wasn't gonna be the same as before my birthday ever again

I just remember wanting to get the next two months of 7th grade over with. It wasn't even fun anymore and my grades were so bad.
