Landon is a runaway foster kid trying just to live his own live then he meets Hope and they ran away together. Note || there will probably be more then one part to this story and I would also like to issue a trigger warning there are mentions of depression and death so please if either of those things are triggering to you please don't read. Anyway  I hope you enjoy.

Third person
Hope Mikealson a tribrid from New Orleans daughter of the famous Klaus Mikealson and Hayley Marshall, Kenner. She used to go to the Salvatore school but after her parents died she couldn't handle being there or at home for that matter she wanted a fresh start away from everything so one night she went to her room packed a backpack and another bag before writing a letter to her aunts and uncle before sneaking out into the night. She walked to a bus stop and sat there waiting for the bus she couldn't help but cry a little bit because she missed her parents and couldn't deal with the pain. Landon Kirby a foster child that was secretly a Phoenix  who needed a fresh start was also taking the same bus out of town so he walked up to the bus stop and sat down next to the brunette he made sure not to sit to close since he didn't know her or we'll he thought he didn't. When Hope finally looked up from her knees she saw Landon her eyes were still a little glassy from crying and it was dark outside but she could tell who it was. "Landon?" She asked. Landon saw who it was. "Hope, hey what are you doing here?" He asked. "Um well running away from my problems. You?" Hope asked. "Same. Where are you headed too?" Landon asked. Hope when quiet for a few minutes before answering. "I don't know." She said before he bus pulled up. "Is this you're stop as well?" Hope asked. "Yes it is." Landon says. "Okay then let's go." She said before getting on the bus Landon did the same there were only a few people on the bus but there was a creepy guy in the back who she could tell was staring at her chest she became extremely uncomfortable. Landon saw the guy staring at Hope knowing she was uncomfortable so he put his arm around her and whispered "Play along." Hope nodded thankful that he wasn't going to let the man in the back near her they didn't know each other well but they had danced once. They ended up sitting together because it was better then being alone. "So you wanna tell me why you're running?" Landon asked. Hope voice broke a little. "Well  um my dad died a few months ago I just can't handle it anymore, I needed out." Hope said. "Im sorry about your dad."  Landon say before looking into her eyes. Hope could feel her emotions started to show so she looked away just in case she started tearing up she was not trying to cry in front of him. "Thanks." She finally said. Landon nods and they sit there in silence for what felt like ages. Hope felt herself tearing up with Landon saw and was concerned about. "I'll be right back." Hope mumbled before walking to the back of the bus were the restrooms were that's when the creepy dude followed her Hope walked to go into the bathroom when the guy pushed her against the wall and put his hand over her mouth so she couldn't scream but that's when Hope threw him off of her using a spell her aunt showed her. The man ended up getting very annoyed but Hope locked herself in the bathroom before he could do anything to her she stood there panicking she wanted out but knew he would come after her again if she went out and didn't have her phone to call Landon or his phone number for that matter. She could have yelled but it felt someone was chocking her she was starting to have trouble controlling her breathing and was having a small panic attack at this point. But now she has been gone for about 20 minutes and that's when Landon got worried so he got up to check on her when he saw the guy standing by the bathroom door beating on it. Landon was getting beyond annoyed by this point to where he shoved the guy out of the way before knocking. "Hey it's okay it's just me." Landon said. Hope was still in her panicking state but managed to unlock the door he opened it up and saw how bad she was he knew exactly what was happening because he actually used to have panic attacks himself when he was in middle school. Hope couldn't think her breathing heavy, she was shaking like crazy and crying. Landon picked her up and held her close while rubbing her head and whispering things like "It's gonna be okay," or "I'm right here everything is gonna be okay." He didn't know much about her past or childhood or anything really but somehow he felt closer to her then he had with anyone or maybe it was just because he had her in his arms. After a little while she started to calm down a little bit she was still crying and shaking a little but other then that she was partly okay. So they decided not to walk back to their. Hope sat on the inside up against the window. Landon sat on the outside neither one of them said anything but Landon still held her close to him and Hope wasn't complaining about that instead she actually laid her head on his chest and stayed close. Normally if someone tried to touch her or anything like that she would punch them in the face but somehow it was different with him and Hope couldn't understand how a boy she didn't even know that much could make her feel more safe then her own family. Landon smiled softly and holds her closely trying to make sure that she felt safe. They both just ended up falling asleep after a little bit them still very close. They slept like that for the rest of the night.
