The ones to come from the ground had arrived and I was the happiest to see them. Jake and Jay were finally back along with two others. I was full of joy and was sure that everyone could see that.
After spending a full ten minutes of holding each other, dissing one another, and expressing our happiness we sat down on our chairs for the next test to be revealed which was surely a frightful one. It said five of the ilanders would be representing all of us, two for vocal battle and three a dance battle, and the fate of others would depend upon them. I couldn't stop pondering about the stress the ones representing would have but .....I wanted to be one of them.
The song for vocal and choreography for the dance battle was really laborious. The singers had to sing BTS sunbaenim's 'Butterfly', a beautiful r&b with very deep and dynamic verses whereas the dancers had three songs to dance in, in which one of them had to be choreographed on our own.
{Heeseung's POV}
Having the people dear to me once again back felt really pleasant though bading goodbye to the ones going was quite tough.
"It's for Heeseung hyung, it's your time to show who's the boss here," Jungwon said linking my arms with his and I knew he was right. I had not been able to truly show my vocal skills till then but now was my chance. Both the vocal and dance battle had their own challenge so we had to be really careful while choosing the representatives.

After hearing Jungwon say that , the fact that I had a companion who understood me in such a short span of time made me feel happy.
Little did he know that there was someone .... unhappy to see the skinship between Jungwon and him.
{THIRD PERSON POV}
Before moving onto dance, the boys decided to choose the singers first so they all started discussing who could be the best candidate. They all started recommending people and one name was common in them all, Heeseung.
"I think Geonu, Heeseung hyung, and Jaebeom," Sunghoon glanced towards Heeseung smiling who was then busy talking with K. The smile soon turned into gloom as he saw the two interacting so close.
Though he had pretended not to, Heeseung had caught up with what Sunghoon had said and that was all he wanted then. He felt happy that he was at least on the priority list of Sunghoon ... still.
After deciding on Geonu and Heeseung for the vocal battle, it was time for the dancers but this time the votes were divided. So it became difficult to choose but at last with majority K, Jungwon and Jay were decided. Despite wanting to be of the representatives, many of the boys didn't speak up since that time it was about the team and they were not confident enough; one of them, Sunghoon. He had wanted to take part in the dance battle really badly but didn't put forward his opinion.
