Chapter 47: Proposal

After the party I dragged Murkuro to the house and showed him around. He kept his cocky smirk throughout the entire tour and I was getting ticked off. I turn my head to him.

"What?" I asked him

"Hm" He looks at me and tilts his head

"What do you mean" He asked me and his smirk only grew

*Tick*

I was getting pissed off with his irritating but extremely handsome smirk.

'Why the fuck does he smirk all the damn time anyway. I'm mean not that I don't like it, but it makes it hard to understand what he's thinking' I ranted in my head

Fate tilted her head and looked between her parents with confused eyes

'Whats going on' Fate wondered scratching her head

"You know what, why are you smiling like that" I demanded with a snarl

"I always smile like this" He asked innocently

Before I could blow up he continued

"Anyway you just look cute showing me around so happily" Murkuro said bluntly

*Blush*

I wanted to retort and play along with him, but now that I've come to terms with reality I find myself happy with his comment.

'Cute! I'm not cute. If anything I'm gorgeous. How dare he downgrade me' I thought narcissistically

Fate snuck away from the adorable couple and went to her room

Murkuro noticed her blush and wrapped an arm around her waist and leaned forward. Alex was surprised by his actions, but met him halfway. They shared a long and deep passionate kiss that was filled with longing and love. With a hint of lust.

"I've waited so long to have you in my arms" Murkuro mumbled into the kiss

"Me too" Alex answered back wrapping her arms around his neck to deepen the kiss

Murkuro smirked at her answer and continued the make out session

After a minute they separated leaving a string of saliva between them. They were breathing lightly and put their foreheads together.

Murkuro stared into her sky blue eyes and it sparked his resolve.

"Alex" he caught her hand and went on his knees, "will you marry me" He smirked to cover up his nervousness

Alex stared at him for a second before latching onto him

"Yes" She whispered in his shirt, her head snuggled into his neck

Murkuro was glad she agreed and hugged her

*sniff*

Murkuro and Alex looked to the side and see Fate crying with Timoteo, Demetri, Xanxus, Iemitsu, Tsuna and his guardians

"That was so beautiful~" Fate cries with tears rolling down her cheeks

'Isn't she a bit dramatic' Alex thought

"Congratulations, Alex" Timoteo smiled kindly

I break out into a grin and detach myself from Murkuro

"Thanks oldy" I said

"Mom!" Fate jumped into my arms and I lifted her up

"Yes?"

"Are you gonna wear a pretty dress" She asked

"I guess so, you'll just have to wait and see" I smiled lovingly at her

"Will dad wear a pretty dress?" Fate asked innocently but I saw the evil glint in her eyes

I don't know if it was possible, but my grin grew so much that it would put Luffy to shame

"Hm" I tapped my chim," I don't know why don't you ask him" I said turning around to face him

He was breaking out into sweat when he noticed the mother and daughter pare staring at him so intensely

"No" Was all he said

"Then will you wear a suit" added Fate

Murkuro nodded but froze when he heard the next part

"Oh! Are you gonna wear mustard yellow with hot pink shoes and tie" Fate asked

Murkuro didn't know what to say. He knows how playful his fiance can be and is worried that the wrong word can be resaid into something else

"No, I'll be wearing a simple neutral color suit. No pops of color" Murkuro said carefully glancing at Alex and even added the last bit for reassurance

Fate and Alex stared at him for a couple of seconds and sighed sadly

"Mom, it seems like he knows how to handle us" Fate pouted

"Your right daughter. What ever will we do" Alex shaked her head sadly and cupped her cheek with her palm

Murkuro sighed in relief when he realized he handled it well. While the family were in their own conversation Timoteo and the others watched on amused

"They get along splendidly. Don't they" Timoteo chuckled

"Yeeah~" The rest drawled out the word

"Then it's settled" Timoteo started getting everyone's attention

He collapsed his hands together behind his back and smiled

"You'll have the wedding in a week" He said before turning around and leaving

'A WEEK!' Alex thought shocked

'How will everything get done in ti-' I stopped my thought when no one else seemed surprised

*Sigh*

'Right, probably have a bunch of people to get the arrangements set up quickly' I facepalmed

"Anyway, you guys can leave. I have to open shop" I shooed them out

Murkuro was reading Fate to sleep while I cleaned up the shop before heading up to bed myself.I collapsed on the bed and drifted off to sleep
