"Sure but You're driving." She says. "As always." I laugh, shaking my head at her. "Some things never change." She says as she tosses me the keys, I catch them easily.
"We're looking for Andrew Finnecan." I lead as we approach the front desk. "Who's asking?" The guy behind it asks. "SA Edythe Blythe and Prentiss, we're with the FBI's Behavioral Analysis unit." We both pull out our badges, to show as proof. "FBI? Is this about the murders from the news?" He shakes his head. "I ain't go nothing to do with that-" He starts. "Yeah, I'm sure you don't. We just want to ask a couple of questions." Emily explains to try to calm him. "W-what can I help with?" He asks starting to calm down a bit. "These suits, you made them right?" Emily shows him pictures of the victims. "I did.." He trails becoming uncomfortable. At least we can say for sure he isn't the killer, he's disgusted by this. He explains that he made them for the ones who were killed. They were getting married, all within the same week. "That's it, that's the connection." Emily says. "We gotta get back to the team." She nods. "Thanks for the help." She says before we head back out.
When we arrive, we update the team on everything we found out, and what Garcia had told us. The rest of them also reveal to us what they have learned as well. "So what lead do we have?" The sheriff asks.
(I'm having a bit of writers block so I'm going to skip this scene, I'm sorry).
~After Work~
"I can drive." I state seeing how tired Aaron is. "No, it's fine, I'll drive." He reassures. "Driving while sleepy is just as bad as drunk driving you know?" I warn. He's hesitant to give me the keys but does so. We both get into the car and I start it. "Do you want me to cook, or do you want to buy dinner."
"Buying dinner sounds like the best way to go." He says leaning his head onto the seat as he shuts his eyes. "Okay." I pick up my phone and call Zero. "Hey bud, what do you want to eat?" I ask letting him choose, He settles for McDonalds. "Alright, We'll be there soon." I hang up the call, putting my phone down on my lap. We order food and head back home. "Make sure everything's there." I tell him and he goes through the bags. "Got it." He takes a few fries and eats them. I shake my head at him. "Want some?" He puts a fry closer to my face and I lean over and take a bite, not taking my eyes off the road. "That's coming from yours." I say and he laughs a bit. "Right, of course it is." He closes the bag and puts it down at his feet.
We finish eating and throw away all of our trash. "Did you finish your homework?" I ask Zero. "Yeah...well, not exactly. I have physics homework I'm kind of stuck on, but I swear I'll do it now." He says quickly. "Lucky for you Physics is Aaron's best subject." I joke. "No it's not!" He says quicker. "I flunked that class." He says truthfully and Zero and I laugh. "Bring your homework, and I'll take you both to school."
"We get it, you're a prodigy." Zero jokes as he gets up to get his book bag. I help him with his homework with ease. "Thanks, I understand a lot better now." He says as he scribbles down answers. "Next time, we're calling Lexie" I say looking Up at Aaron. "I thought you said this was your favorite subject growing up?" He laughs. "It was, but I self taught most of it, my dad didn't let me go to school. So, I forgot a few things." I say and he falls silent and Zero looks at me. "Nothing I can't help you with by relearning." Aaron places his hands on my shoulders and gives them a light squeeze. "We should get ready for bed." I sigh as he massages my shoulders. "Okay."
"I'll put Jack down, and be there soon." I nod as I stand up. "Go shower kiddo." I ruffle his hair and he puts his paper into his folder. "You're the boss." He gets up and goes into his room. I head to the bathroom I share with Aaron and wipe off the little make up I put on today. I slip out of my day clothes and step into the shower, starting by washing my hair. When I grab my loofa I hear the creak of the floor, Aaron came in. I turn my back toward the door, letting the water wash over me. "What are you doing?" I cover my body as much as I can. He glances down at my shoulder. "What. happened?" He says and I put my hand over my shoulder. "You get scars being a mafia leaders daughter." I keep my eyes on his, trying my best to keep his attention off of my body. "What did they do to you over there?" He asks and I shake my head. I turn my back to him finally. He falls silent so I know he can see the others as well, along with the tattoo my father gave my brother and I when we were younger. "Edy-" He starts and I bow my head slightly looking at my feet. He settles for not saying anything at all. He kisses my shoulder than my neck. "I'm never going to let anything happen to you ever again." He says turning me around to face him. He kisses the top of my head.
"Come to bed." He whispers. "I thought you wanted to talk." I remind. "We can save it for tomorrow." He assures. "We won't have time as always."
"I made time. We're going to see Janet, together from now on. We both have things we need to heal, and grow from, and we both need to learn to trust each other again, if we want this to work."
"Therapy again, Aaron I do-"
"Please Edythe." He tilts my chin up. "Okay." I give in. There isn't anything I wouldn't do for him. If going to therapy makes him feel better, then I'll go. "I love you." He says softly. "I love you too."
