"Have a good day at school." Edythe and I say in unison. Zero flashes us a quick smile before getting out of the car shutting the door. I drive us to work, after taking Jack to Jessica's house. I look at the time after parking, we have some time before we have to be inside. "Are we not going to talk about this?" I ask her, concerned about what happened this morning. If she has some form of PTSD, which I'm sure she does. She needs to see Janet, and it's unwise for me to let her come back to work. "Talk about what?" She asks looking at me, as she lets her hand drop from the door she was about to open. "This morning, your little episode" I explain. "It was nothing." She says turning her head ready to get out of the car again. I reach over and shut the door quickly. "It wasn't nothing Edythe, you freaked out in front of the boys."

"I wasn't freaking out." She turns to face me. "You were, I was holding Jack." I say sternly. She huffs in response, " I didn't mean to." She says. "I know, that's why we need to talk about it so that we can get you the help you need." I try to explain calmly. "I don't need help!" She says defensively. "You do, we need to talk about this-" I press. "I don't!" She shouts. "Jack could've gotten her."

"But he wasn't!"

"That's not the point," She tries to speak but I don't let her. "Zero could've been hurt, Jack could've been hurt, and I was." I emphasize. "I said I was sorry!" She shouts throwing her hands in the air. "Edythe-" I state sternly. "No- I don't need to listen to this." She opens the car door and slams it shut and I rub my face in frustration. I don't mean to push her, but I just wish she would open up to me just a little about what happened to her. So, maybe I can understand why it bothers her so much, so I can avoid triggering her, so that I know how to make things okay for her again. I lock the car after shutting the door and follow Edythe inside. Things are starting to hit her now, she was so wrapped up in being back, that she hasn't coped with what her, and her friends has been through. And I though going to therapy would help her do that, if she's unable to talk to me about it, at least she has someone, but it doesn't seem to be working out much for her.

When I walk in she's already next to read, smiling again. She cuts her eye to me for a second before turning her attention back to Spencer. I'm glad I got her back, but it's not like she's fully here. Everything was fine until it wasn't. I'm not sure what to do to help her. I can't understand what she's going through no matter how much I try, I've tried to reach Kai for help but he's been busy, and Zero he's a kid, he shouldn't have to have the weight of other peoples problems on his shoulders. I head to my office as I wait for everyone to arrive.

Edythe's pov:

"Spence!" I force a bit of happiness as I call his name. It's not as if I'm not happy to see him, I just haven't had the best morning, and if anyone can notice it's Spence. So, I try to mask it as best as I can. "Hey." He turns to me and smiles, his hand in his pocket, and another holding onto his satchel. "you're back for good this time?" He asks, "I'm hoping." I state truthfully. "How are you?"

"I'm okay, you?" I reply simply. "I'm doing great actually." I smile at his response. "Does that have anything to do with JJ?" I raise an eyebrow, continuing to play into this character I've built. "Maybe." He replies shyly and I shove him lightly. "I'm happy for you." I tease. I laugh as the blush creeps onto his cheeks when JJ walks into the room. His eyes quickly diverting to his shoes. " Good morning." She greets, "Morning." I reply and Reid settles for a smile. "Coffee? Extra sweet, as you like." She offers to him. "Thanks." He takes it and she walks to her office, grabbing her tablet from her charger. JJ sets up as everyone else starts arriving. We greet one another before meeting at the round table.

"What do you have for us JJ?" Aaron asks as he walks into the room. "3 men were killed in Kanas City, Missouri. After they were killed they were cleaned up and dressed up in blue suits." I frown as I flip through the pictures that Garcia sent to our tablets earlier in the day. "What can you tell us about the victims, are there any consistency?" Rossi asks. "No, they're all different races, different social classes..there's nothing we found so far that ties these people together, other than living in Missouri." She answers. "And how far apart were the murders?" Emily asks, looking up from the pictures. "All of were a week apart." Garcia replies. "So, he has some sense of control, he's collected, these killings mean something to him." I state. "There has to be a connection somewhere." Emily says. "Lets get on it, wheels up in 30." Aaron says eager to get to work. I assume, not wanting the killer to deteriorate. Everyone clears the room, to grab their go backs. "Aaron.." I call to him, once everyone left, before he could too. He pauses, his back still toward me. I walk over to him, and stand in front of him. I put my hand on his arm. "I'm sorry." I state. "About this morning, all of it. I just- I'm a mess, but I'm handling it. I promise." I assure him. He looks down at me, stone faced as always. "We'll talk later, we're working now." He says looking past me. 'I-"
