"It is. What about Tife and Tito?"

"They are downstairs playing with the other kids." He answered, and then he went back to what they were previously discussing. "Please sister Lola send me some cash."

"Pele o. I didn't know there are plucking money in this place or I am working here." She said sarcastically. She heard him sigh. Then she added, "But maybe when I am in good mood, I will video myself around the house and send it to you."

"You are a darling sister Lola. That's why I love you so much." He blew kisses and Lola rolled her eyes with a smile plastered on her face.

"I said when I am in a good mood." She said.

"I know you will do it for me." He said confidently. She can tell he was smiling from ear to ear. "I love you." She grinned.

"You know,... I wish you are all here. How I wish the circumstances are different."

"Yes." He agreed. "I know what you are feeling. But it is well. There is always a reason for everything. So that shouldn't stop you from having fun and taking loads of pictures. I'm expecting pictures from you. At least something memorable and good comes out of the deal."

"Yes. I think so." She smiled.

"Dad is back," Daniel said on the phone.

"Oh! Give it to him. I want to speak with him."

She heard some muffled conversations before her father's voice filled the phone.

"Hello, Tiwalolami."

"Daddy, how are doing?"

"I'm okay. And you? How is that place? Hope they are treating you well. Hope they are not making you uncomfortable or taking advantage of you?"

She smiled. Her father and worries. He worries a lot about her. He still thinks she is his little girl.

"Dad! I'm fine. They are treating me well and no one is making me uncomfortable. This place is nice, big and beautiful. And they treat me like I am one of them. You know I am... Demilade girlfriend." She heard her father heave a loud sigh. "I'm fine daddy."

"Alright."

"Dan told me about you searching for a job. But you didn't tell me that before dad."

"I know you won't support it." He answered her.

"I can't support it, dad. You should use this opportunity to rest. You should stop stressing yourself."

"Tiwalola, I have to work. I am getting too worn out sitting in the house all day doing nothing. And remember, Mr Demilade is not your real boyfriend. Don't get too comfortable with how things are now. Your life will be back to normal soon. And we will be back to how we used to be. You know half of my salary goes to your grandmother's hospital fee. And whatever comes after that deal is yours. You work for it and it should be used by you. You need to go back to school. And when it is the right time, I will sit and rest and eat the fruit of my labour. Just not now. I still have responsibilities that I need to fulfil."

He paused and continued. "So I have gotten a new job. I will be driving a truck to supply cement to building sites and some cement depots." He told her.

She wasn't so happy about it but she knew there was nothing she was going to say to change her father's mind. He had made his decision.

"What about your job with Demilade?" She asked.

"I will decide on that when your contract with him is over. I will have to think about it so well because they are just a few places that can pay me what Mr Demilade is paying me."
