 Dalton came early on Saturday morning and Ricky had stay back today they were having  a big time party at his work place he was inviting the family and they could  invite the neighbors Catherine came on the front porch just as they were gathering kika called her over she and Dalton greet each other with  a hug Ricky came on the porch with a smile  on his face
"Hey you must be Catherine I have heard so much about you"
"Is it something good?" She ask
"If beating up on my brother in law is good then yes" they both  giggle
"I don't think that could be bad, if he don't deserve it then tell me and I will stop" Ricky giggle,
Rachel roll her eyes,
The mustang came up and Catherine turn Brayden got out his car ran up the drive way carrying two bags in his arms he came up behind Catherine and she could  feel his body heat hot as she felt him the other night in the heat of their love making she shift just enough for him to go by her as he came to greet his brother in laws,
"You brought bags" Violet said  coming to greet him
"Hey grams I'm going to get these inside before they cause a mess"

"You went to sea early today?" Ricky ask when Brayden came on seat himself on the side of the porch
"I got a good catch so I came out and head home"
"It's  good thought right, I'm here trying to get to know your neighbor"
Brayden look at Catherine who look at him,
"You're coming to the party right?"
"I hope to but you know I might have to leave early"
"What time is the party?" Catherine asked
"At five" Ricky informs her,
"I might have to go see what I can find to wear, should  I dress in something formal?"
"Make that appropriate nothing revealing" brayden grumbled
Catherine look at him but she said  nothing make Rachel look at Leah and Leah at Violet kika smile,
"How you dress won't be a problem" Ricky said
"Ok" Catherine said turning to leave "see you later"
"Yeah later" they said
"Catherine" kady called
"I'm coming"
"What are you doing please tell me you're not bothering Brayden"
Kika and the others grin even Brayden had a smile,
"I'm not"
"You're going  to let it look as if we're the worst neighbors"
"I said  I wasn't  bothering  no one, alright already, gosh" she grumbled as she step on the porch
Ricky smile, looking  at Brayden who had his eyes on her until  she was at the porch heading indoors

Brayden look at him pretending he didn't hear what his brother in law had said
Dalton smile and nod,
"Ricky is inviting you  all to a party  at the governor's office"
"Who's Ricky?" Alison asked
"Rachel husband"
"She's married?" Kady asked
"Yes her husband  is the a government agent so he's late to come in and early to leave but today  they're having a party and invite us to come"
"Everyone?" Kady asked
"Yes the party  is at five"
"Ok" alison said
"I'm  going  to find something to wear"  Catherine said
"Go a head"
She went off and the two children ran off with  her, they came out two hours later with Catherine showing off a full out fit"
"Wow" kady said looking  at her out fit, "that is new"
"No it's  been in my closet for a long time too"
"It looks  nice" kady said Catherine  smile she went to change put it on a rack and they went to the kitchen
"Leah got more sons two as a matter of fact"
"Brayden isn't the only boy?" Kady asked
"He is not, I was surprised"
"I am surprised" kady said "so where are they?" "one lives in Canada he's a pilot ,
The other lives in Colorado  he's a national guard of the us army"
"That's good"
"Rachel is a teacher and kika wants to become  a criminal lawyer so Brayden is the only one who doesn't has a professional job"
"What does he do?"
"He's  a fisher man"
"Is that bad?" Kady asked
It wouldn't matter to her if he drove a garbage truck she's  fallen into him and that's just what it is,
She ignored her sister got up and she and the children went out back most of the morning was spent  there until they were joined by the others they avoided cooking hoping food will be at the party,
They were all ready for the party when they meet up at the gate to leave Ricky was introduced to the rest of the family by Catherine before she ran off to see kika in side, Ricky watched her off, he then smile,  smile delightful at Alison "I want to tell you mam you got one pretty daughter" he smile Alison smile too "thanks" she said
"She's  pretty  miserable too Brayden can tell  you about  it" Leah said  making them all laugh,
"Are there going  to be food at the party  for I'm not leaving  my stomach empty for no cause" Catherine said  coming from the house with kika
"There will  be food" Ricky  said
"Speaking of food my son brought  fish I have for you you can get them tomorrow" leah said
"Did he said it was ok for me to haveit?" Catherine asked
"He suggested it"
"And he said  me by name"
"He said kika's  saucy friend from the neighbors and you and kika seems to be friends"
The others laugh Catherine frowned
"Well I don't mind what he has to say about  me"
Rachel smile up at Ricky
"You can ride with  us" kika told Catherine
She went along with  them hoping  to see Brayden as she gets to the party she kept looking for him in every gathering but couldn't see him any where, it wasn't until  later on  she saw him,  surprise to know he was here before they even got here he said  he was busy Catherine wonders doing what he didn't tell but he was signing some autograph and taking pictures with a few of the guests who make part of the event all about  him, "did you eat I can get some food if you like"
"Please do we didn't come all this way to can't have food" Catherine grumbled, he left them there and went to her a waitress to bring food over, Catherine didn't mind at all "I love plenty food I especially like it when someone else cooks it, for I'm not cooking it for myself" she said  over a mouth full "don't embarrass Ricky" kady said "what for eating since when it is a embarrassment for eating"
"It is when you eat so much"
"Well this is me I can't change as I said I love plenty food"
Brayden try to hide his smile when his grandmother caught him doing so, he watch her the way she wasn't  a shame to eat, he stood just looking at her talking  with the others a while before  he disappeared some where Catherine couldn't tell where, fifteen minutes went by, "I'm going to find a rest room"
"I can follow you" kika said
"I'll managed I don't want to steal you away enjoy yourself I'll be right back"
"Don't go running off tonight  again" Rachel said
"She better  not" kady said
"I won't" Catherine said leaving she didn't see Brayden anywhere inside the huge room and went out to the balcony she didn't see him but the scent of him greets her as she push open the door she knew it got to be him for no one could smell the same way he does, Brayden was looking out into the night sky  he didn't notice he was no longer  a lone Catherine  went up to him touch his shoulder and he turn into her, she tilted her head up to kiss him sucking on his bottom lip,

"What taking her so long?" Kady asked
"We better go look for her" kika said
"I'll come a long Rachel said
Catherine turn when the bathroom door opens to see the other girls there,
"You spend  a long time just to use the bathroom" kady said
"I was on my phone  didn't  realize I was gone so long"
"I might as well  go now that I'm here" Rachel said  they all go as Catherine wait Brayden was with the bunch when they came back,
"Brayden I thought you left" Rachel said
"I was just about to do so"
"Ok so see you tomorrow"
He hugged his sisters  and look at Catherine wink at her he bid good bye them went away Catherine  watch him moving to a clear spot where she could  see until he was gone out the door Ricky watch her as she did so, she turn and saw him watching  her "I have to get something else to eat"
"Really?" Kady asked
"Well it is free right?" She tossed her hands in the air walking away leaving them,
"You think she likes him?" Ricky asked later as he and his wife changed for bed,
Rachel look at him
"I'm talking about Catherine and your brother"
"That's a laugh not in a million years, he doesn'tlike her she doesn'tlike him"

"I know she don't believe he is but she's trying  to give him a hard time"
"Well I don't know about  that"
Ricky smile said  nothing  more,
"Sunday they all gathered at church Brayden shows up and Catherine couldn't keep still she was looking at him every time she could and Ricky saw it,
"That was a good service" Catherine said  I think this preacher was better than the last one"
"Do you ever hold your tongue?" Kady asked
"What I didn't say anything wrong "why you picking on me?"
Kady roll her eyes from the way her eyes stead fast make them all turn to look and saw Brayden coming towards them, "hey" he said  and they all replied except for Catherine who just stared
"I'm going to head on home now"
"I thought  you would  join us for dinner too we could  all have dinner at home" Violet said looking to the Moores
Brayden look at Catherine thinking dinner wouldn't be a bad idea sitting at the table with her for some time,
"We have some other plans" kady said
"Oh I see" Leah said
"We will start working on Monday so I'm setting up" Alison said
"I'm hoping  we can see it soon" Violet told her
"Yes I hope so too" Clinton said
They said  their goodbye then got in the cars  Catherine watch for Brayden to look her way before she drove off he did just as the car was going  to drove off the smirk on his lips warms her heart,
Brayden was glad he didn't say he would and said his goodbyes soon as the two cars left them,
The phone woke Catherine at six in the morning she feel tiredly for the phone next to her, she answered it to hear a strange voice she sat up
"This is Julie couch I'm calling from couch's interiors" Catherine grin from they call it was the job,
"Is this Catherine?" The woman asked
"Catherine"Moore" Catherine said
"Yes miss Moore I looked over your application and we at couch's interiors would  love to hire you" Catherine  got to her feet she wanted to scream but controlled herself
"I'm hoping to have you come in today"
"Ok I will"
"I'm looking forward to seeing you"
"Thanks" Catherine said and the call ended Catherine jump up in excitement keeping it low for she didn't want to wake the whole family she took a shower got dress by then her family was up she went into the kitchen smiling "good morning" she said
"Hey morning" they answered
"Coming with us?" Alison asked
"No I'm going to my work place"
"You got a job?" Kady asked
I'm going there right now"
"Congratulations" kady hugged her they giggle at each other
"Where exactly will  you be working?"
"Downtown Nashville at julie couch's interiors"
"You got the decor job Oh nice"
"I don't want to tell just yet"
"Ok, wish you luck"
"Need a ride down?" Clinton asked
"It's ok dad I'm going to walk down I'm going to talk to kika" she kiss them before leaving she call kika she came to the front porch "that call I was waiting on finally came"
"You got a job"
"I'm heading there now"
"Well wish you the best" kika grin "we'll talk later
"Say goodbye to your boyfriend"
"I will"
"Ok so catch up later"
Catherine was excited but the real excitement came when she was told she got the job and she could start working tomorrow she was shown around the work place met with her co workers shown the team she'll be assigned she wasn't expecting her own team she did got her team when she was working in Toronto
"We call the office you worked in Toronto turns out you were pretty amazing there"
"You call?"
"Yes why you think we needed number and address from your previous job" julie said
Catherine nodded
"I'm looking forward to working with you katherine, is it with a k, or a c?"
"It's a C" Catherine said
"Ok Catherine see you tomorrow at eight"
"Thanks" Catherine said they shook hand and Catherine left she went out and bought a new shoe and a new hand bag for her new job she has work clothing that were mighty fine she went home to put herself together for tomorrow later she and kika, Rachel and kady got together on the Clark's porch for some girls time,
"What's your boyfriend like?" Rachel asked for no one got to meet him yet"
"Hard working I guess he doesn't do much more than work, I feel he hardly got time for me"
"You complained for everything" kady said
"Is he good looking?"
"He's not bad looking but he's not the cutest I date"

"We both don't want to get pregnant"
"You don't want to have children?"
"This body can't take all that pressure"

"Maybe he needs a vacation"  Catherine said
"Yeah" Rachel said
"Have you thought about taking one?"
"Probably for next year next year we'll have a new government and then he'll be a sign a new task that won't have him so busy so I think we will be able to take that vacation"
"What about you kika?" Catherine ask
"If I want to have children? Well yes dalton wants children we will get married after college and then get a job when I'm twenty five I'll get pregnant"
Catherine smile like my sister you will make a perfect mom, you both will"
"Watching you with those children I was saying  Maybe you can't wait to have your own I can't believe you don't want to have children"
"It's not in my nature" Catherine said taking another drink of the cool ice tea  "this is good refreshing" Catherine said
"Yeah Brayden made it"
Catherine with surprise choked up coughing "he did it's not your gramma's doing?"
"No he always make it when he came he love ice tea and he loves to cook so when you see a nice dish of casserole it's is doing"
Catherine was surprised so he got cooking skills and sex skills he was crazy aggressive but sure knows his things, she smile and shook her head "All this time I could be poisoned and didn't know it"
"That's to show you're your own enemy not Brayden's" kady said and they all giggle
"Well my new job starts at eight you girls still has time before school reopens so I'm going to go to bed"
"So I'll see you tomorrow" kika said Catherine hug her bid goodbye to Rachel
"I'll be in shortly" kady said finishing her drink they sat some more and talk
"My husband thinks your sister got a thing for my brother" Rachel said
"No way, I think she's in love with her boyfriend he's to propose and I think she want to marry him" kady said
"They've been talking a while?" Kika asked
"Yeah"
"What does he do?"
"He works at a insurance company he's managing the company"
"Oh so he's a rich ass guy" Rachel said
"I guess so"
Rachel nods
Finally kika got up to go in and kady decided to leave too just as she was coming over Ricky came he greet her and asked for Catherine "she's probably asleep by now" kady said he nods then went by her, she was on the porch when she saw them went in she checked on the children before going to the kitchen she have a glass of water then went to her room she barely lay on her back before  her husband climbed on her as if he was waiting to see her come in,

Sunday morning before getting  up, she was with the family in the kitchen when she heard the mustang came up, she wanted to get up and go out to see Brayden haven't seen him in two weeks, but she  didn't move  she was so  glad when she heard kika calling for her Brayden was on the porch when Catherine came, "morning" she said Dalton came to hug her as they both smile at each other,
