S1E9 Different but same

Sam had her feet up on the side of the couch as she laid reading a book. "So boring." She groaned to herself and covered her face with the book. Robby walked into the kitchen, limping. Amanda looked up from her computer. "Robby are you okay?" She asked him in a worried voice. "Yeah I just twisted my ankle a bit." He told the woman with a small smile on his face, acting as if he was p,aging it off cool. "I'll be fine but it might be a little hard on my skateboard."
"I don't know when Daniel will be home. Do you need a ride?" Amanda asked, her motherly side showing. "Yeah, but I know you have those reports to finish so I can wait." He said with a greatful smile. "Don't even worry about that. Sam!" Amanda called. Sam rolled her eyes as she got up off the couch. "Yes warden?" The young girl asked as she walked into the kitchen. "Robby sprained his ankle and needs a ride home. Take him there and come straight back okay." Amanda's eyes stayed on the girl. "Yeah, sure okay." Sam nods as she stared walking back to the living room, Robby following her.

They walked out the door, Robby still limping. "Do you need help?" Sam asked him. Robby turned his brown eyes to her. "No I just need to walk it off." He told her then suddenly added a skip into his step. "Haha see there it is. All better." He smiled with a small shrugged of his shoulders, "Wait..do you just pull a Tyler Shoza?" Sam asked in a happy and shocked tone. "You said you where a prisoner I figured I'd break you out. So where are we going?" He asked with his usual half smile. "To a party how does that sound?" Sam smiled at him. "That sounds great."
"Great my boyfriend is probably wondering where the hell I am." She said as she started towards her car. Robby's smile fell some as he followed her to the car.

Night has fallen at the canyon but the party didn't slow. Aisha was walking through the crowd when she saw Miguel Polish off another beer. "Another one? Are you going to be okay?" She asked him, some worry in her voice. "I'll be fine Aisha don't worry." He told her in a slightly slurred voice as he walked past her. "Okay." Her voice didn't sound very convinced. Miguel went to get a soda, opening the cooler up. "No their all out of Mr. Pibbs I got the last one." Demetri said. Miguel looked up at the boy before letting the lid close and walking away. Moon and Eli were sitting on a log, making out when someone called the girl. After she left Demetri started to make his way towards his friend. "I don't get it. You shave half your hair, get a tattoo and dress like that and everything changes." Demetri said as he sat down by him. "I'll let you in on a little secret, it's not the hair cut or the back tattoo. It's a way of life, you just have to feel the energy, live in the moment." Eli told him, patting his back. He started to stand up, leaving Demetri sitting there.

Demetri's eyes started wandering, landing on Yasmin. He stood up and took a sip of beer. "Live in the moment." He whispered to himself. He walked over to the blonde girl. "Uh hello there, I saw on your Facebook it's your birthday. Happy birthday." Yasmin didn't respond or even look over at him, trying to ignore him. "Sorry if I'm bothering you. I normally don't converse with the opposite sex...except my mom even then it's intimidating. My trick is just to admire from a fair you know." Now Yasmin was looking at him, her look a mix of concern and confusion. "Oh my God." Yasmin said with digest as she walked away from him. Demetri's face falling some before a small smile formed. "That went pretty well." He said to himself

Yasmin stormed over to Aisha, "Hey!" Her angry voice called. "Do you think it's funny to crash my party?" Aisha stared down the girl, unwavering. "It wasn't really your party since we were here first." She sassed. "Yeah? Well I know you and your little karate gang think you're cool." Yasmin started, glancing at Eli and Moon as she spoke. She turned back to Aisha and took a step forward. "But we all remember who you really are. You're just a fugly bitch and all your friends are freaks. Come on Moon, let's go." Yasmin started to walk away. "No I'm staying." The smaller brunette said, catching Yasmin's attention and making her turn around. "I apologized to Aisha for what we did and you should too." Yasmin looked at her friend in disbelief. "Whatever. You deserve them Moon." She stormed off, roughly hitting Aisha with her shoulder as she past,

"Hey Yasmin!" Aisha called after the girl. Yasmin turned around and walked back over, acting all tough. "Huh what?" She asked, "Let me help you to your car." Aisha said with a deadly looking smile. Aisha grabbed Yasmin by the front of her underwear, picking her into air with a front wedgie. Yasmin screamed out in pain. "No mercy bitch." Aisha said as she threw the girl. Eli laughed as Yasmin pushed herself up off the ground, everyone laughing, expect Moon,  now as she ran to her car

Sam and Robby pulled up to the canyon. "I know like to to drive fast but that was crazy. We're lucky to be alive." He told her with a small laugh. Sam opened the trunk and looked at him. "I know I'm sorry it's just that I know Miguel has been waiting on me for awhile." She explained. "So you're a little late..big deal,  he shouldn't be giving you a hard time about that." Robby said as Sam got a blanket out of the trunk. "It's not just that..um...I haven't told my dad I was dating Miguel and I think he knows I've been keeping it a secret so now it's kinda awkward." Robby offered to carry the blanket, which she handed over as she talked. "Why did you keep it a secret?" Robby asked, the two stopped walking, Sam facing him. "Because my dad hates Miguel's Sensei, like with a passion and I knew if he found out he would totally lose his shit. But I feel so guilty, like I have to come clean to everyone. Sorry I know this sounds like a total soap opera." Sam laughed quickly. "No, I can relate." Robby said in a soft voice as they started walking again.

Miguel was standing by the bonfire, drinking a deer when he heard Sam laughing. He looked up to see her sad Robby coming down the hill, both laughing, looking like a couple. Miguel stared before looking upset and walking away from the fire. "Hey." Miguel said as he got close to them, eyeing Robby. "Hey.' Sam smiled at her boyfriend but the smile faltered slightly seeing his expression. "Who's this guy?" Miguel asked. Robby looked confused at Miguel then at Sam. "Wait is this your boyfriend?" He asked. Sam nods. "Yeah Miguel don't worry this is Robby he works with my dad," She told him. "Oohh with your dad? Okay Yeah this makes a lot of sense." Jealousy was clear on Miguel's face as he spoke, now Sam looked confused. "What's that support to mean? Wait have you been drinking?" Miguel looked over at her. "No no no no. You don't get to turn this on me. I've texted you, I've called you all day and you couldn't answer me back once?"
"No I literally couldn't my mom took my phone." Sam's voice held a pleading tone. "Oh. Oh how convenient." Miguel said upset. "Hey-" Robby said, trying to get Miguel to lay off. "You get out of here." Miguel said angrily, shoving Robby away and to the ground. "Miguel stop it!" Sam said.

Robby started to get up. "Hey man you want to try that again?" He asked bitterly. "Oh you want to try again." Miguel said, the two advancing on each other when Sam got in the middle of them. Miguel swinging and hitting the girl instead of Robby, knocking her over. She got up, shoving away any help he tried to give. "Sam I'm sor-" Miguel started but was cut off. "You asshole what was that?" Her voice was rough. Miguel was to shocked about what happened to reply. "My dad was right about Cobra Kai. Good luck in the tournament. I won't be there." She turned walking away, Robby was staring  at Miguel. "Sam!" Miguel called. Robby looked back before running after the girl. "Sam! Sam wait!" He called till he got to her side.

Robby was in the dojo when Daniel walked in. "Hey Robby."
"Mr. Larusso there's something I really need to talk to you-" Robby started but stopped when Johnny followed Daniel in. "What the hell?" Johnny asked in shock. "Oh yeah Johnny I forgot to tell you. You are not the only one around with students, i have  a student of my own." Daniel said putting a hand on Robby's shoulder. Johnny looked between the two before roughly pushing Daniel. "What the hells wrong with you?" Daniel asked. "What the hells wrong with you?" He countered, advancing when Robby out himself between the two, holding his guard up at Johnny. "Hey dad back off." Daniel looked confused now. "Dad?!"

"If you want to fight him you're going to have to fight me first." Robby told his dad. Johnny looked between the two again. "You've got to be kidding me." He whispered as he walked out. Daniel had his back turned on Robby. "Mr. Larusso I was going to tell you." He said, looking at Daniel. "So this was all just a big con?" "N-no it wasn't li-" "You just tried to pull on over on me." Daniel was furious. "Get out!"
"No Mr. Larusso please." Robby tried pleading, eyes wide. "Don't come back here, to the house to the dealership! Ever!" He kept walking towards him till Roby was out of the door. Daniel slammed the door in Robby's face as he tried to apologize.
