A Letter In the Mail

I walked back to the arena where Scarlett was waiting. I have her a huge smile. "I did it! I got a kiss from Paul Stanley!" I said.

Her eyes widened. "You did?!" she cried.

I nodded, heart fluttering a bit. I didn't know why, it's not like I liked him. He was my least favorite member out of all of them. I kind of even liked Vinnie more than him. "Yep. So you owe me," I said.

She shook her head, jealousy in her eyes. "Lucky. Come on though, we should head home."

"Sounds like a plan! Tonight was fun!" I said.

Scarlett nodded, eyes bright. "It was!"

I headed home with her, saying goodbye as she dropped me off at my house. I walked inside, flopping on my bed with a smile. It was a fun night. It might've been more fun if I had been able to get a kiss from Gene or Eric or Bruce. But at least I got a kiss from one of the members.

I assumed it was just one kiss, but to my surprise there was a letter in my mailbox a week or so later.

I picked it up out of the mailbox, looking at it in surprise. My name and address was written on it in a beautiful cursive handwriting. I walked inside, opening it and pulling out the letter. It smelled like roses, and rose petals fell out of the envelope as I lifted out the letter. My eyes widened. With a confused frown, I opened the letter.

Dear Y/N,

I hope this isn't too forward. If it is, then just ignore this letter. I would love to get to know you more than our brief backstage meeting. If you would also like to meet again, then please accept this ticket and backstage pass for our next show. If not, then it was a pleasure to meet you once.

Sincerely,
Paul Stanley☆

I stared at the letter in shock. "From Paul Stanley?" I asked.

Shaking my head, I reached into the envelope again, pulling out a front row ticket and a backstage pass, as well as a signed photo of Paul that had a lipstick kiss on it. Too surprised to really know what to do, I walked to my phone, picking it up and calling Scarlett.

Scarlett: Hello?

"Scarlett I just got a letter in the mail from Paul Stanley. He wants me to come to the next show. He sent me a front row ticket and backstage pass."

Scarlett: Oh my gosh! Y/N that's amazing!!

"I mean...I guess. But I don't love him! I don't really want to see him."

Scarlett: You have to go! You just got invited backstage by Paul Stanley! Paul damn Stanley!

I let out a sigh, looking at the letter. "Oh, fine. I guess I'll go," I said with a sigh.

Scarlett: I'm so happy for you! It's going to be amazing, you're going to have so much fun! Oh maybe he loves you! Maybe you'll end up getting married! Wouldn't that be so fun?

"No! I don't like him! I won't marry him, trust me. I'll just go to the show and play along until it goes far enough and I tell him I don't like him.

Scarlett: Oh but Y/N! You can't break his heart like that.

"I'll be fine. Don't you worry about a thing. Now I gotta go, I need to get ready for the show tonight," I said.

Scarlett: Bye Y/N! Have fun! Call me and let me know how it goes!

"I will! Bye!"

I hung up, looking at the letter again. "Well. I guess I should get ready," I said, walking into my room.

I found a pair of tight leather pants and put them on, looking at my reflection. They hugged my legs, accentuating my curves, and I smiled. Next I put on the tightest crop top I owned, Kiss logo stretching across my breasts and exposing my midriff. I pulled on a leather jacket on top of that. I buckled up my platform boots, putting on a sparkly belt that hugged my hips. Finally, I brushed out my hair, starting to do my makeup. I did some purple eyeshadow, some very sharp winged eyeliner, and topped it all off with black lipstick.

Satisfied, I grabbed my motorcycle helmet, making sure to put it on carefully so I didn't ruin my hair. After putting the ticket and the backstage pass in my pocket, I got on my motorcycle and sped off to the arena.

Tonight was going to be interesting!
