Upside Down

Chapter 2

I woke up to my mom yelling at me to wake up.

"Okay okay I'm up!" I said sitting up

"Get ready you have like 10 minutes" she said running downstairs to make my lunch.

I hopped out of bed and ran into the bathroom. I took out my bun, brushed my hair, brushed my teeth and started my make up. I nearly burned my finger prints off when I touch the curling iron that I thought was cool.

"Fuck!" I screamed dropping in on the ground.

I pick it up and started to curl my awful hair.

When I finally made it out, I grabbed a pair of ripped jeans and a half shirt. I really don't care that it shows half of my stomach because I'm as late as shit.

I ran downstairs, grabbed my lunch and my bag then ran out the door in a huge rush. I started to run because I knew the bus had left already. I ran and finally made it to school. The thing that amazed me was that I wasn't sweaty and smelled okay from what I saw.

I ran into school and grabbed my books and walked to my next class breathing heavy.

I made it to my class and saw Edward in his seat waiting for me to come sit next to him. I started to walk over, but someone poked me. I froze and looked down to see Alex.

"Hey" I said with a smile "I didn't know you were in my class."

"I'm new, can you show me around?" He asked

"Sure, no problem!" I nearly screamed with excitement

The teacher walked in and automatically came over to me, "Excuse me Miss. Hudson, take your seat!" She said coldly

I nodded then looked at Alex and made a face. He laughed and she snapped
"Excuse me what is so funny?"

"Ummm...nothing" Alex said smiling putting his feet on the desk

She looked mad then pointed at his feet "Put them down, now!" He listened and took them off

The rest of class was awful! The only highlight was when the bell rang, I nearly ran out. I went to my other classes and lead Alex around the school.

We finally made it to 7th period and that is lunch. Alex took a seat at the football side while I sat with Edward and talked about The Middle.

I stopped when I felt something wet go on my head and all I saw was pink.

"Oops, I'm sorry Amy." I heard the devil herself, Holly say. She is the bitch of the school and even her girlfriend hates her.

My blood boiled and I stood up.

"It's fine Holly" I growled

I walked out of the lunch room to my locker, I even slipped on the smoothie when I got to my locker.

"Ouch" I moaned while getting up

I opened my locker and grabbed some extra clothes with a brush, and a towel that I use for gym. I saw legs behind my locker and for some reason it made me mad.

"What?" I screamed while slamming my locker shut

I turned my head to see Alex.

"Sorry" I mumbled while wiping the pink liquid from my eyes

He reached and touched my head then licked his finger.

"Well at least you taste and smell sweet" he said smiling "Don't worry about her. She is just jealous that your prettier"

I looked up blushing! He just called me pretty! Now I'm falling for this boy.

"Thanks" I said "I have to go get the strawberry smoothie off of me before my hair gets even sticker"
