I can still lie about small things and you think nothing of it
Sometimes I feel like you know when I do but don't show it
You know I'm not on my way most times when i say I am
You know that I run late so it feels like you start to plan
You know me and my patterns, what I'll do
I'm starting to lose yours, and your interests too
Do you know how it feels to have to relearn a person?
One day feeling like their best friend and then feeling like you hardly know them?
I've felt this way with you so many times
You're the same you but it's like learning old lines
I know in my heart that I have them in my brain
But I still have to read them over and it feels like a pain
After things happen different parts of you show
And it recreates parts of you I thought I would know
After things happen I see a slight change
When i look at you I still try to unlock your brain
Get to know all the parts of your core
Each day with you I don't know what's in store
I know you better than I've ever known anyone else
And the best part about it is I'm also learning myself
To know a person can mean so many things
But for us I don't know if we knew what it means
Almost two years in and we still surprise each other
We're both crazy one worse than the other
We do things out of anger we could possibly predict
But we do things out of love that feel like a fix
You make me crazy and you know that you do
Call me crazy for being obsessed over you
My one and my only, my husband and friend
I will marry you one day, our story won't end
Each day I see you I learn more and more
And baby I can't wait to see what's in store
See me the way I see you and know it's a challenge
We change everyday but we keep up a balance
I've seen you change, times over and over
But I'm still by your side and each time we're closer
I've seen you mature in ways you don't see
Watching you become the man I know you to be
Don't ever think that i take you for granted
I say some things that aren't the most romantic
I can be mean and for that I am sorry
I try to be better and I don't mean that partly
With my whole heart i mean what I say
I want you to know that I am here to stay
I don't mean to bully you and don't know why I do
Why do these words come out to you
Cherish you with love is all I want
