I closed the door behind me and turned around to see Jen taking a seat right next to my sleeping grandmother.

My grandmother had grown to love and care for Jen like she's family - because she is family to us.

She treats Jen like a granddaughter and loves her as such.

Jen looked up to me with a smile and I smiled back as I took a seat from the opposite side of the bed right next to granny.

"Hey," I said. "I'm really sorry about what I did earlier, I was only looking out for you. There are a lot of people that you can't trust out here in the city."

She nods, "I know and I'm grateful for what you're doing but you know that I can take care of myself, right?"

"Yeah, I just can't help it. Granny might hit me on the head if something bad happens to you."

Jen giggled at what I said.

It's been a great year with Jen ever since we found her washed up by the shore.

I never knew how much our lives could change just because of a single person. Jen became one of the people that I come home to after work and it's really a great feeling.

She's been a good friend to me and a family to granny and I. It would probably sting a bit if the time comes that she has to leave.

I don't know what I'd do if Jen does leave.

3rd person

A knock on the door was heard about an hour and a half later.

By this time, Hanbin's grandmother has already woken up from her sleep and is having a conversation with Jen and her grandson.

Their attention turned to the door where two unfamiliar figures walked in with a push cart.

Jen and Hanbin were shocked to see the same stranger who insisted that she knew Jen wall in with another person in the same uniform as her.

"Mrs. Im?" Lisa said with a smile as Jaerin pushed the cart full of food inside the room.

"Welcome to our humble hospital, we hope that you have a wonderful stay here in —"

The nurse wasn't able to finish her sentence when she looked up from her clipboard and her eyes widened at the sight of her sister right in front of her.

"Hello," Jen smiled. "Granny just woke up a few minutes ago, will it be okay if she eats immediately?"

Jaerin and Lisa stared at her in shock. Jaerin was relieved to see her again just to make sure that she wasn't really hallucinating since this is the last room where they will bring food to and it would be disappointing to know that whoever it was in the garden was not Jennie.

"Jennie unnie?" The words came out of Lisa's tongue.

Hanbin's grandmother looked back and forth at the two young women in front of her and she couldn't help but smile at their resemblance.

"I'm sorry?" Jen looked back at the nurse with a confused and somewhat shocked expression on her face. "What did you just call me?"

Hanbin's heart quickened as the two women kept staring at each other, even he couldn't help but see the small resemblance between the two which fueled his fear and nervousness of the situation.

"You... don't remember me?"

Jen shook her head in response, her eyes went towards the person standing behind the nurse. The stranger who was insisting that Jen looked like someone she knew. Now, this is the third person who has come up to talk to her.

"I'm sorry, just like your friend, I'm sure you might have gotten the wrong person," Jen said.

Lisa's hands curl into fists as she tries to stop herself from walking up to the woman who doesn't even know her and bring her into a hug.

"I'm your sister," She told the woman. "Have you forgotten?"

Jen stared at Lisa with a shocked look on her face but she was also very intrigued by the fact that some stranger is telling her that she is her sister. A family member recognizes her.

"My sister?" She asked. "But, I don't know if I even have a sister, I'm really sorry about all of this confusion but I can't even remember you."

Lisa frowned at what she said. She was confused and disappointed, she just wanted to give Jen a huge hug after looking for her missing sister for a whole year and now that she is standing right in front of her, she can't even remember her own sister.

"But —" Lisa was stopped when Jaerin placed a hand on her shoulder and slowly shook her head.

"She can't remember us," Jaerin whispered.
