Falling

Chapter 4

He immediately replied back.

Nice. I'll see you and your friends next week. :)

Time went by very quickly. Today is Band Day and everyone is so excited about it especially that not only college students can attend. Students who love music created their own bands and songs so the student council suggested to have an annual Band Day. And fortunately, Headmistress Lim approved it.

Band Day is held at the college grounds. It usually starts at 6 in the evening and ends at 11. College students don't have classes every Band Day because they set up the venue and prepare for the party. They set up a stage there where different bands will perform. Band Day is just like an acquaintance party actually. And this is my first time to attend since they didn't really allow high schoolers to attend. I just heard from the other students who has a sibling in college that it's really fun.

"There he is."

I told the girls when I saw Kai at the entranceway, standing. The four of us headed towards him and he saw us right away. He smiled and waved at us.

"Hey girls," he greeted as soon as we stopped in front of him.

"Hi, Jongin!" Lisa greeted.

"You can call me Kai, Lisa-ssi." He politely smiled before looking at the other two. "The same goes for you two." His eyes stopped at Jisoo.

"Kai.. she's Jisoo unnie. Well, I don't know if you know her or what.." I said.

"Hello, Kai. I'm Kim Jisoo. I'm a freshman too."

"You look familiar. Do we attend some few same classes?" He said, frowning a bit. Jisoo only nodded as a response.

"I see," he looked at his watch before looking back at us. "It's an hour and a half before 6. Shall we stroll around for a while before I take you girls to the music room?"

"That sounds great.." Jennie nodded a bit. "..but why are you taking us to the music room?"

"Uh.. to introduce you to my friends?"

A small gasp escaped Lisa's mouth before she giggled.

"Let's go then!"

Kai smiled and nodded before turning his back against us and started to walk. We followed him inside. I looked around with a small smile on my lips, admiring the interior. It's not my first time going here but everything is still amazing me. 

"Obviously, this is the locker area." He said as we walk in the middle of the long hallway. Glued on both walls are the white lockers. There are several students and they are all looking at us, especially girls.

"Hi. Kai!" A group of girls greeted him while leaning on the lockers. Kai nodded curtly with a smirk on his lips before greeting them back.

"Hey."

"Jongin!" A guy approached him.

"Hyunsik hyung." He greeted. The guy named, Hyunsik, glanced at us before looking back at Kai with a smirk. He slightly punched Kai's arm in a playful manner, making Kai chuckle.
