I picked up my phone and answered

Nailea: "hello?''

Mom: "hey mija?''

Nailea: "hey mami what's up?''

Mom: "i have bad news mi amor'' "i'm sorry but you have to be strong''

Nailea: "tell me mom, what is it''

Mom: "Cathy, Cathy died''

Mom: "she got into a car accident'' "by the time she got to the hospital she was announced dead'' she said as her voice cracked

Nailea: ....

Mom: "Sweetie, are you there''

Nailea: "y-yes i'm buying a ticket mom''

Mom: "are you sure sweetie?''

Nailea: "yes mommy, i'm going to be there today, i-i'll call you when i arrive''

Mom: "okay'' "bye mija, love you cuidate'' (take care)

Nailea: "okay mommy, love you too''

She hung up

I got up and packed my clothes

8:01 pm

I was now in the plane heading to texas

1:25 am

I waited outside the airport for my mom to arrive

5 minutes later

She arrived

She got out the car and quickly walked up to me giving me a hug. I hugged her back and cried

Mom: "it's okay sweetie'' *she said caressing my back*

She broke the hug

Mom: "let's go home'' she said as she grabbed my suitcase

I arrived back to Los Angeles with Mattia, my guy besfriend, Cathy, Mattia, and I grew up together, Cathy may not be here but she will always be in my heart.
The whole drive home was silence, I took out my phone and got on twitter
