He Cheers You Up

You were currently laying on your and Dell's bed, you stared at the ceiling tears running down your cheek. You had just got off the phone with your mother, and she told you, your childhood dog died. You were so heartbroken by the news you couldn't help but cry. You got your dog when you were in high school, he had been there for you during some tough times. You know he would die one day but it didn't mean you were ready to let him go. You didn't hear the door open, Dell walked into the room. It didn't take long for Dell to notice you crying on the bed, he instantly starts to worry, walking over to you.

"(Y/N), what's wrong!" He asked sitting on the bed.

You moved closer to Dell, holding him close.

"My mom called me. She said my dog died." You cried.

Dell frowned pulling you close to him. Dell ran his fingers through your hair.

"I'm so sorry, honey," Dell whispered.

"I knew I would lose him someday, but I always thought I would be there."

Dell frowned.

"I know what you mean." Dell started. "I had a golden retriever named Sunny. She was a sweet dog and I loved her with all my heart, but she got sick. One day when I came home from school, my Daddy told me he had to take her to the vet and they had to put her down. I remember being so sad, I cried for hours."

You looked at Dell and hugged him tighter.

"Animals come and go, but you'll always have the memories of them when they're gone," Dell said.

You smiled, wiping your tears.

"You're right. I'll still always remember all the times with him." You smiled. "Thanks for being here for me, Dell."

"No problem, (Y/N), I'll always be there for you," Dell said giving you a kiss.

You Get Drunk (His POV)

The team decided to throw a party and everyone was drinking. Well, everyone but Phoenix and I. I didn't want to drink since I didn't feel like getting a bad hangover. Phoenix didn't like to drink either, so I decided to hang out with him while everyone was partying. We hung out for a while before Phoenix got tired and went to bed. I went back to see how (Y/N) was doing, I saw her lying on the couch fast asleep. I walked over to her, I can smell the alcohol on her. I picked her up and carried her to our room.

"Dell..." (Y/N) said opening her eyes.

"Yeah, it's me, sweetheart," I said.

She laughed, wrapping her arms around my neck.

"Heeeey Dell! I l-love you so m-much!" (Y/N) smiled.

"I love you too, (Y/N)." I smiled.

(Y/N) kept talking, she wasn't talking about anything important. I listen to her, even if she won't remember it in the morning. I laid her down on the bed, she grabbed my arm.

"Can we cuddle?" She asked giving me puppy dog eyes.

I smiled.

"Sure, honey. Anything for you." I said giving her a smile.

I laid down next to her and she wrapped her arms around me. It didn't take long before (Y/N) fell asleep. I kiss her on her forehead.

"Sweet dreams, (Y/N)."
