The Supernatural Sisters | Emily's POV

Chapter One | A New Beginning

As I am anxiously waiting to meet her, I am talking to my best friend, Julia, for comfort. "I'm so nervous!" I say. "I've always wanted a big sister!" A few seconds later, I hear the car pull in. "She's here!!! I have to go. Bye!" I say. I hang up, gather my sisters, and run outside. There she is!! My ACTUAL big sister!!

I run and hug her so tight! "Oh my goodness! Y'all are so tiny and fragile!!" She says while laughing. "I can't believe I am finally meeting you!" I say. "Wow... You are so tall!" says Lily, one of the twins. After we are done hugging and chatting, Lily and Paige help us bring Linda's things inside. Paige is the twin of Lily.

As Linda walks in, our dog, Doc, starts barking like crazy! He always takes a little while to get used to people. As we finally get away from him, I show Linda to our room. "I love it!" Linda says. "Me too!" I say. I giggle.

We start to put her things away, and I struggle to start a conversation. "This is so exciting! I still can't believe you're here!" I say."Finally!" Linda says happily. As we walk into the kitchen to get a snack, I see Doc laying on the floor. When he sees Linda, he jumps on her. "He's hugging me!" Linda said excitedly. I laugh. "Yep!"

A little while later, Dad walks in. "Do y'all wanna go for a ride?" "Sure!" Linda says. "Yes!" I say. Before we walk out the door, Mom stops us. "Here's some snacks!" She hands me a plate of Summer Sausage, Cheese, and Crackers. "Thank you!" We say as we leave the house.

As we get into the car, I tell Linda that Dad is most likely going to stop and do a couple things. Sure enough, I was right. As Linda and I awkwardly sit in the car, I grab my phone. "Selfie Time!" I say excitedly. "Yay!" Linda says. As soon as we finish taking pictures, Dad comes back to the car.

When we arrive at home, I hop out of the car. I laugh while watching Linda struggle to open the door. When we get inside, we walk to our bedroom. We both hop onto the bottom bunk. We sit in awkward silence for a few seconds. I wonder if she likes it here... I think to myself.

"So what do you think about all this?" Linda asks. "It's different but I like it." I say. After a few minutes, our little sister, Quinn, walks in and sits with us. "I'm shy." She says. "Me too."says Linda.

After that awkward moment, Quinn leaves the room. We chat for a few more minutes. I pick up my phone. "My friend asked me to call her when you were here so she could meet you. Is that okay?" "Yeah totally!" Linda says.

When I call Julia, she answers on the first ring. "Oh my gosh... Hi! It's so good to finally meet you! I'm Julia, Emily's best friend! "Hi! I'm Linda! You seem so sweet!" Linda says to her. "Also, it's nice to meet you too!"

After we talk for a bit, I hang up. Linda and I started making bracelets. She then asks me an odd question. "I take it you're popular at school?" "What do you mean?" I ask. I am very confused. "Well, you are so energetic and positive that I just thought you would have lots of friends." "I do have quite a few friends, but I do not consider myself Popular." I say. "I am very shy and I don't have many friends... Do you think you could help me?" Linda asks. I can tell she really wants me to help her. "Of course!" I say happily.
