Gadget: Illusion's Deck
Lead Specialist Scott "Mirage" Murdock
Description: "my years at the University of Texas A&M while agonizing and... Restless, my time there was fruitful as it's where I began testing out holographic technology. Illusion's Deck is highly advanced technology able to perfectly match anything I input into the device such as barricades, cameras and my fellow colleagues' gadgets, only difference is that these holograms aren't physical. I made these to obviously trick hostiles and make them think twice about performing certain actions... And to screw with the ops who act all high and mighty."
BACKGROUND Youngest son of the Murdock family and younger sibling to Richard Murdock, Scott was always the favorite son between him and Richard as he unlike Richard actually listened to his parents without hesitation or defiance. He is an avid believer in God and still is to this day, from a young age Scott dedicated his time studying while Richard was off screwing around as he would put it.
Scott never had any real problems in school getting along with most people along with straight A's. Growing up Scott always had to deal with the drama Richard and their father got into but stayed out of it as he never liked taking sides, especially when it's two people he cares for. Then the day came where Richard would be leaving for the army and this actually hurt Scott significantly due to how sudden this was as he always confided in his brother once he got older but with him being gone, Scott felt the weight of expectations on his shoulders.
Scott once he graduated high school went to the university of Texas A&M on a scholarship and took a mechanical engineering class. This is where Scott discovered his passion for creating new technologies and became very dedicated to this idea as it's he came up with the idea for his gadget. Scott once getting his Masters degree would start a semi successful business fixing cars, making new things and for awhile he enjoyed it but he began remembering his brother and decided to enlist in the army at 24 years of age.
Scott had a difficult time adjusting to the grueling process but once he caught he really took off being one of the more impressive recruits. He spent a year in the army before being recruited into the 75th Ranger Regiment where his talents really shined as he would display great leadership and teamwork skills along with his intelligence made earned him a lot of respect from his peers, enough that he would be offered a chance to join Delta Force which he immediately accepted and once again succeeded though Delta Force was much harsher than anything he's done.
During his time he finally met up with his brother after years of no contact and the two didn't really talk at all as neither could say anything let alone be in the same room for more than five minutes but the two did work plenty of operations together earning each other's respect as operators but to this day aren't on talking terms.
PSYCHOLOGICAL "Scott and I actually met on multiple occasions before he joined rainbow so to say I had some familiarity with Scott would be an understatement. Scott at first glance is very respectful, formal and has a good head on his shoulders but I know him better than that, Scott while he is serious most of the time does have a sense of humor and loves pranking others in unique ways which I have been the victim of a few times.
Scott does this as he understands that someone needs to have fun every once in a while but will never take it too far. While Scott is smart enough to be considered a genius, he isn't the greatest at socializing as he finds it hard to find people who like discussing the same topics he does so he mostly keeps to himself as he also has a slight fear of being judged for his tastes.
Scott despite all this takes pride in being a leader and doing things properly which has put him at odds with his brother who he considers to be too reckless for his liking and this no doubt will earn the respect of our ops who consider themselves to be leaders such as Ash, Iana, Thatcher and Zero. And his dedication to exceed expectations will do doubt make Scott one of our most valuable ops." ~Harvisah Pandey
