Julia: It's actually our birthday present for George 😉😏😏

"You officially got a birthday present from the twins," I announced with a laugh.
"Ah really?" he asked curiously. "What is it?"
"The one I've been hiding from you," I replied, my face turning red. No, I wasn't really embarrassed about this subject, but when I thought about it... It was just funny. "They gave you condoms"
George raised his eyebrows. "Really?"
"Well..."
"Yeah...?"I bit my lips. Should I say it or not? So far I had never told him. "Well, I... Whether we need it now is the other question."
He nodded. "Understandable. Don't worry about it," he said softly and put his hand on my thigh, which still gave me goosebumps.
 "I mean why should you?"
I leaned my elbow on the windowsill and rested my head in my hands as I considered how best to tell him. "So I want you to know that I...that I... I'm still..."
"I thought so," he reassured me gently as he noticed my nervousness. "I mean, I'm your first boyfriend, that's what you told me. But I don't care at all because you are the most precious thing to me. And that doesn't change anything one bit."
I couldn't help but smile at those words. It wasn't a lie when I said that I got the sweetest boyfriend on this planet. And I am more than grateful for that. "Thank you, George," I thanked him and leaned over to his side to press a kiss to his cheek. "I love you more than anything"
"I love you even more"

I fixed my hair one last time as we walked to the Russells' front door in King's Lynn.
"Do I look all right?" I asked nervously, looking at George who just started laughing. Gently he took hold of my face and stroked my cheeks with his thumbs. This touch and looking into his beautiful eyes made me feel better immediately.
"Darling, they will more than love you, it will be all right," he reassured me gently and kissed me. That gave me everything to take away all my nervousness. "Ready?"
I nodded and took his hand in mine as he rang the front doorbell. Not a second later, a woman answered.
"Hi Mom," he greeted her with a kiss on her right and left cheek. "Hello my darling," he greeted her quickly and then turned her attention to me. "And hello Elizabeth, it's nice to finally meet the woman who makes my boy even crazier," she greeted me and gave me a surprising hug.
"Nice to meet you too, Mrs Russell," I returned her hug and put my arms around her.
"It's Alison, please," she laughed and looked me over thoroughly. "Ah George, she's even more beautiful than you described her".
"You can't describe her beauty either," he said and then smiled at me with the most beautiful smile in the world. I hadn't known his mum for five minutes and yet she was so nice to me. And her compliment made me blush too. "You little suck-up," I teased George and kissed him on the cheek. We both went into the warm house where the next ones were already greeting us.
"Uncle George!" two little children called and ran towards them.
"Hello, you two," George greeted them and got down on his knees to be at eye level with them. This was the moment when I could have melted. George with little children was the sweetest thing I have ever seen.
"George's father is coming," Alison explained to me as I looked at George with his nephew and niece for a while. I then looked at them in response. "He still has to work," she added. "Would you like some tea, my dear?"
"Sure, thank you," I accepted.
"How about you, George?" Alison asked her son. "Tea?"
"Yes, Mom," he replied and stood up. He looked at me briefly with a smile before turning back to the two of them. "Would you like to introduce yourselves to Elizabeth?"
"I'm Ella."
"And I'm Peter"
"Hi, nice to meet you," I said and walked up to the knees. "I am Elizabeth"
"Are you George's wife?" Peter asked whereupon I couldn't help but laugh briefly.
"No, I'm his girlfriend," I corrected him, but then blushed. I glanced up at George, who was grinning at the two.
"But you're still getting married at some point?" Peter asked also looking at George. I looked tensely at him as I stood up again, hoping rather hear an answer from him.
"Maybe," he winked.
"Well, hello you two," said a young woman who had just come down the stairs. "Hi, you must be Elizabeth, I'm Cara, nice to meet you. Oh my goodness, you're pretty," she said, walking past her brother who just looked at us in surprise and gave me the same hug as her mother, which also surprised me, and not only that but her compliment. Were all Russells like that?
"Thank you, nice to meet you too," I greeted her back and smiled at her as we let go of each other.
"Oh and hi little brother," she greeted her brother as if he were a side issue. The two of them ended up hugging each other as well. "It's nice to be noticed too. I love you too, big sister," George said and kissed her cheek.
"Don't be so jealous, after all, tomorrow is your birthday," Cara interjected. "But Elizabeth," she said again and turned to look at me. "I love your style. No kidding vintage is the best, George told me you love it, any tips?"
"Well, if there's a vintage shop nearby-"
"Can we go shopping?" she finished my sentence. "Perfect. Sorry, George, I'm stealing your girlfriend after your birthday," Cara said.
"Mummy, what's vintage?" Ella asked, looking up at her mother.
We all sat down on the couch while Alison brought us tea. Cara explained what vintage was and I chatted with Alison.
"Tell me something," my friend's mother prompted as she gave us the tea and we thanked her. "How was the trip?"
"Very good, we got there pretty quickly," George replied.
"If you're a Formula 1 driver, you'll get there fast," Cara said and put Ella on her lap.
"If you had the car," George interjected.
"And what do you think, Elizabeth, is George a good driver?" Alison asked. I noticed George giving me an expectant look.
"I know better ones"
Cara started laughing out loud and George looked at her from the side in horror. But she just shrugged her shoulders. "At least she's honest"
"I was joking, he's my favourite driver," I said, pulling a pout as I looked to George. "You little slime" he teased and pressed a kiss to my lips. I took a sip of my tea and leaned my head on George's shoulder, who in turn wrapped his arms around me. "And work? Do you like it at Williams?", Alison continued.
"I love it," I replied. "I also can't wait for the test weeks and then Australia either. It's certainly going to be great"
"Which is your favourite track?" Cara asked.
"I would say Imola or Hungary. Because I'm from Hungary."
"George already mentioned it," said Alison. "Where are you from Hungary.
"I was born at Balaton and grew up near Budapest."
"By the way, Hungary: You like Hungarian food, right? I thought we could cook together, Cara you and me tonight if you want.", suggest Alison. "I bought some ingredients for this typical Hungarian food. How is it called?"
"You mean Gulasch?"
"Yes, exactly. What do you think?"
"Great idea!"

Later, after we had been talking for a while, George's father Steve came over and we introduced each other. George and I took our things up to his old room where we would sleep for the next few days and gave our presents to the little ones. In fact, Ella was a huge fan of cars, as her uncle had been being a Formula 1 driver, which is why George and I got George T-shirts for both Williams. Of course, both were very happy about it and ran around the house with their cool new t-shirts. I also gave my presents to Alison and Steve. Since I didn't really know them yet, I decided to buy a bottle of wine for both of them, even if it was pretty unimaginative, they both liked it anyway. I bought Cara earrings because George said she loves them and my choice turned out well.

Then Cara, Alison, and I started dinner while George sat on the couch with his father talking. I explained to them the best way to make the goulash, as Uncle Adam always showed me.
At half-past six there was dinner and everyone seemed to like it.
"It's the best goulash I've ever eaten!" Steve said. "George, you have to keep her.", he addressed George and patted him on the shoulder, which made me giggle.
"I didn't mean to give it away either," he said and kissed my temple, which made me blush.
"Lilibeth is also nicer than the other," Peter said.
"I agree with you, honey," Alison agreed with her grandson.
The other? But not ...?
"The other one was weird," Ella added.
"Nobody liked her," Cara said and helped her daughter eat.
Now it was clear to me that it was about his ex-girlfriend, but I didn't want to take part in this conversation. But if everyone talked about her like that, then ...
"Okay, so is the plan for tomorrow?" George asked the group to change the subject, which I was grateful for.
George's father explained tomorrow's plan, but I was only half-listening to him. I tried to forget the conversation about his ex as quickly as possible. But now I had it. And I would never take advantage of that. I would treat him with the greatest respect I have, always be there for him and support every single second that I spend with him as long as I can.
