Astrid muttered as we walked into the arena, while we were here with Gobber Frode was gonna start on the tail fin.
He was working on the model and making it so D/n can activate it himself and we'd coat it in his scales later.
"I hope I get some serious burns"

The twins and I were pretty close though the issue is Tuff knows I have a tiny crush on Ruff, he's agreed to stay quiet about it though I think he's okay with it....
"Yeah its only fun if you get a scar out of it"
"Depends on where though, I still wanna see through both eyes" I laugh slightly getting a laugh back from the twins and Astrid
I consider Astrid as a sister, we both like insulting and hurting Snotface so we became friends quickly

"Oh great who let him in?" Tuff said, obviously annoyed
"Lets get started! The recruit who does best, will win the houner of killing his first dragon infront of the entire village!"
"Hiccup already killed a Night Fury or two, does that disqualify him or?"
Snotface says making the twins laugh
I walk up to snotlout from by Tuff, hitting him in the side with the handle of my axe making the others all laugh except for Snot, Hiccup and Gobber

Gobber started talking to Hiccup as I looked around, nothing but a stack of sheilds
"Behind these doors are just a few of the many species you will learn to fight! The Deadly Nadder!"
"Speed eight, Armor sixteen."
"The Hideous Zippleback!"
"Plus eleven stealth times two."
"The Monstrous Nightmare!"
"Firepower fifteen."
"The Terrible Terror!"
"Attack eight, Venom twelve!"
"CAN YOU STOP THAT?! And... the Gronckle"
"Jaw strength eight." Fishlegs whispered this time
"Whoa, whoa, wait! Aren't you gonna teach us first?!" Snotface says in fear
"I believe in learning on the job."
Gobber opens the gate to reveal a gronckle, everyone runs in different directions, I go straight to the Shields and pick one up
"Today is about survival. If you get blasted... you're dead! Quick! What's the first thing you're going to need?"
"A doctor?!"
"Plus five speed?!"
"A shield!" Astrid and I yell, me tossing one to her.
"Shields! Go! Your most important piece of equipment is your shield! If you must make a choice between a sword or a shield, take the shield!"
