What keeps you going?

Actually I don't want an answer. I don't really think I want positivity. Fascination for life quotes have long left my system. All that remains is a craving for something deeper. Something that is sharp yet strong. Something that holds you close even though it hurts you. Something that calls you back when world turns against you.
Something that helps you cope up. Your own safe place to hide yourself from the world. Actually hurt is not a bad word. It's relieving. It provides a coolness. I want to describe the feeling of pain as sweet as the giggling sounds from pearls that fell off a broken necklace.
Pain is a presence you see. It's there with you. To get you through. If you are acquainted with pain you would know I'm talking about the dull ache in your chest that feels like strength to hold on some more. I'm definitely not talking about pain that would tear you apart. Pain like being stabbed to your heart is soothing to me but pain of being stabbed will be... Well... If anyone have such plans I hope I die easily before that happens. I can't be deserving of such a fate now, right? Does fate even exist 😅
Guess I've over thought enough for right now. Time for a regular dose of slight dull aches to keep me from forgetting how to feel.
