Where It All Started

Execution:

         The plane ride to Virginia was excruciatingly painful. I had no patience and no time, Elise sent a picture of my father's plane ticket. We'll only be a few hours ahead of him. He took the next flight out. I threw that phone away as soon as I ended by call with Mason. When we landed I was glad to finally get out of my seat and breathe the fresh air. Rhydian was in a car waiting for us when we arrived. I get into the passenger seat while the other 3 got into the back. "I'm going to stop so we can order food, you all must be starving by now." Everyone agrees, except for Kai who is already passed out asleep, his head against the window. I shake my head. "You can stop at McDonald's."

         "Anything for you little sis." We drive in silence with light music from the radio in the background. We order food and I pass everyone their food and drinks as Rhydian drives us to Aaron's house. "Everyone kind of found out and didn't want to leave him alone so, they all just decided to stay at his place until they know for sure he was safe. And well, your team they may have created a plan of their own. Like a plan b of sorts."
      "Of course they did." I bite into my BigMac.            "Everyone missed you." He states. "Seems like you're a completely different person here." Zero says. "That's the whole point. Edythe is the persona I want to be, who I am. Not Elizaveta, some puppet my father thinks he can control. I'm liked here because of who I've become. I am a different person here because I have different opportunities that were previously stripped from me simply because of the name I was tied to, the people I was tied to. I have a life here, I have people here, my family is here. I'm done letting him take things away from me and so it seems are you all considering you're helping me." Rhydian parks the car and Aaron drive way and I get out of the car. I open the trunk to grab the duffle bags we had packed early. Though Rhydian takes them for me and hands me to keys to the house. I let myself and everyone else in. "It's a little quite to be a house full of people isn't it?" Zero asks. "Yeah, very." I walk through the house slowly checking every room I pass through. "I thought you said everyone was here?" I turn to Rhydian.
          "They were suppose to be, they were here when I left." I lift my arms up and rest my hands on the back of my head. "What if Dad got to them first." I turn to Rhydian just about ready to lose my mind. "That's impossible Elise would've warned us." Veronica defends quickly and my face drops along with my arms. "Unless she wouldn't." Zero says disappointedly. "Aaron's going to die- Mom, Lexie, Mason- my team and it's all my fault." I put my hand over my heart as I lose my breath. "I'm going to lose everyone I-" Kai puts his hands on my shoulders. "Breathe. You told Mason about a meet up spot if things go sideways, maybe they're there." I a few deep breath before calming down. When I do, I open the duffle bag. "If we go, we need a plan, if Elise did double cross. 1.) I'm going to put a bullet through her head. 2.) My father is probably there with maybe enough guys to take us. If not a few more to try and get the upper hand. Though if my team isn't dead." I check to make sure the gun is loaded before handing one to everyone. I take off my jacket as I sling my gun over my shoulders and behind me so that no one sees and put my jacket back on to hide it. "Let's go." Rhydian orders. "One second." I walk into Aaron's room and open up his safe. "Veta what are you doing?" Zero asks and Kai punches his shoulder. "She prefers Edythe kid, catch up." I shake them off and grab Aaron's angle gun. "This comes in handy sometimes. Figured I would give it a try." I shut the safe covering it back up. "You've never used one?"

         "It just isn't really my thing but, it's best to have for situations like this. Chances are we won't have the upper hand." I walk down the hall back to the car putting in the location to the warehouse in the gps. "Drive faster." I tell him. "Don't worry, we'll get there in time."

         "We better." I put my seatbelt on realizing I've been too caught up in the moment to do so. "When we arrive you will go up to the highest point see if you can get a good visual for us okay?" I nod as my brother gives everyone their positions after I explain to him what their strengths and weaknesses are. "Be safe." Rhydian and I say at the same time. I get out of the car shutting the door behind me. Kai goes with Rhydian to scout the place out while Veronica follows me to check out lower levels. I look around to find my highest vantage point. "This is the part where we split up and get shot, so I'm telling you not to get shot." I say to Veronica. "That gives me so much confidence, thanks." She says sarcastically.
