I'm not putting any current chapters of demon heart on here because it's a story I'm hoping to actually publish one day and it's also not finished xD if people like them I'm more then happy to post other drafts that are no longer "cannon" or don't contain any story spoilers.

Akaria was born to a noble family, in a noble village.
She grew up being taught that demons where awful creatures that kill without hesitation, despite this she grew up fascinated by demons, she wished to see for herself what demons where like, she was always a very curious being. On her 13th birthday her mother and father tried to marry her off to another nobleman, their reason was "nobles marry nobels, it shows others how powerful we are" Akaria didn't like that, all her life she had only wanted one thing to live her life as her own, decide on her own, choice her own path, not be controlled by her power hungry parents.
She refused to marry that filthy man, her parents where furious, down right demanding her, but she held her ground, soon her parents sunk so low as to bribe her, with that she stated that she would rather die and refused to eat, after a whole 2 weeks her parents caved after their daughter was near death.
The years passed slow, Akaria would often spend her days outside the walls of her village, exploring and learning what she could from the earth and creatures around her, but one day while on her usual route she ran into a demon, he was tall, muscular and he was mostly bald except for a long flowing ponytail that started from the nape of his neck, his hair was long going from his head to his lower back.
Akaria was terrified, she had no idea what or why a demon was so close to her village, was he alone, if so he was in a dangerous spot, walking around so close to a human village, or was he with a group, and if so, where they planing an attack?!?
But to her surprise, the demon looked around, stopping his gaze on a single spot before bending down and carefully plucking a small but beautiful flower, Akaria was in awe, she had never in her life seen a demon, but she was always taught they where heartless creatures, but here before her was a kind and gentle demon.
At some point in her starring the demon caught on to her presence and turned to look directly at her hiding in the bushes, panic rose, and before she even knew what she was doing, she ran faster then she had ever ran before back to her village, and to her room.
Akaria never told her parents about her experience, even though she was terrified when he had spotted her, she somehow knew deep down that, that demon meant no harm, so for the next few years she kept it to herself, that is until one night.

It was a warm spring evening, when there was a crash coming from the village centre, another crash followed by screaming and crying, this got her attention, she was immediately curious wanting to know what was happening she ran outside and to the village centre, upon arriving she stopped in her tracks, among the confusion and panic stood the demon from 4 years ago, she was 16 at the time she was now 20 but in that time, this demon didn't seem to have aged a single second, she was confused but that was suddenly her second thought, this demon, this man she had met 4 years ago, a creature that was supposed to be the embodiment of pure evil and hatred was trying to calm both her people and his own, his eyes held kindness, but also urgency, it was then she noticed that guards where surrounding the demons, their where surprisingly very few demons, the bang must have been caused by her people.

The man then started trying to talk to the mayor, he was asking for a pardon, that he and his group meant no harm and that the didn't mean to crash here.
Akaria then realised that they must have been flying over and shot down, explaining the first bang and crash, so then why was he apologetic, her village was in the wrong not him, but it seemed her people didn't think that way, they started yelling, some about revenge and others about burning at the stake, that was the moment she realised, demons weren't the evil ones, humans were, it filled her with rage, sure demons won the war 900 years ago, but was it them that started it, or was it power hungry humans? Suddenly she was filled with so much rage she was sure she would explode, she took a step forward and yelled.
