Merder Meets Surrera

Hi guys this is our very first fanfiction on this account. This is a joint account and there a three owners. Kate (station19xgreys ), Hannah (merderxsurrera) and Samrika (Surrera_Mania) . Hope you like it.

" Engine 19, Ladder 19, Aid 19 Requested @ Grey Sloan Memorial" the team heard as they had just finished lunch. They all raced down to the apparatus bay where they put on their gear, got in the trucks and drove off.

Upon their arrival they saw what looked to be an explosion a couple floors below the roof. They jumped out of the trucks and walked over to the incident commander.

" Ok listen people. We've got five people missing in this building. Critical patients have been moved to the West wing. Non critical patients are outside. 19 I want you to send your aid car over to assist doctor bailey with triage. Everyone else you're either looking for the missing people or you're helping to get this fire out." Ripley said

Sullivan walked off with Ripley to help assist him. Maya turned around to her team, also giving them instructions.

" Jack and Ben you guys are on the aid car so you can head over to Bailey and she'll give you guys instructions. As for the rest of you Andy and Dean you guys are on search and rescue. Travis and Vic you guys are helping me with this fire. Everyone clear?" She said. She received nods followed by scattered 'yes captain'.

When Jack and Ben arrived at triage they saw Bailey giving everyone instructions so they just listened. After Bailey was finished giving instruction she walked over to Ben and jack.

"Ben, Jack, any word on where Meredith and Derek are at yet" they both replied shaking their heads. She was worried about her friends but she was also mad. "I should've known they would be so damn stubborn." she said walking off to a patient.

Inside the building Andy and Dean were searching desperately for any sign of them. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. This was going to be harder than they thought. 10 floors and over two hundred rooms. They had to search 10 floors and over two hundred rooms. The first floor was empty. So was the second and the third but things changed once they got to the fourth floor. They were on the O.R floor and they heard yelling.

As they walked down the corridor they stopped when they yelling got louder. O.R 2 the label read. They walked into the scrub room where they saw Meredith arguing with Derek and Bokhee just there to witness everything. Dean and Andy shared a confused look as they saw Meredith operating on a patient and Derek yelling. They felt bad for the scrub nurse. She had to witness everything while being in danger. They left the scrub room and walked up to the gallery.

" I really don't think you guys should be down there." Andy said through the mic. Everyone's head shot up to the gallery.

"Herrera! It's nice to see you again, although I wish it were under better circumstances. Now would you please take my ignorant husband out of here while I finish this surgery." Meredith said

" Ignorant? Please. You're the one who is performing surgery while the building is on fire and not to mention your pregnant. She can be so stubborn sometimes" Derek said now facing the gallery again. Andy and Dean feel a shake beneath their feet. They shared a look knowing what that meant.

"We need to get you guys out of here now" they yelled through the intercom. They rushed down to the OR to see Meredith and Derek quickly stitching the patient up before they rushed over to help them get the patient out of there. Dean steps into the elevator with the patient before the ground starts to shake again, the lights go out and come back on again. They look around to see if everyone is ok but didn't see Meredith. They look down and that's when Derek and Andy see Meredith laying on the ground.

Derek scoops her up and looks around for another exit. "Captain... captain-" those are the last words Maya hears before the radio cuts off. Sullivan overhears Andy's voice on the radio. It didn't take him too long before he grabs his turnouts and an O2 tank and heads into the building...
