Count Me In

Olivia's P. O. V

I'm sitting in the living room with Zayn and the boys and see Harry walk down the stairs smiling to himself.

"What's got you so happy Haz" I ask smiling.
He looks up at me and blushes before saying, "it's nothing Liv, I'm going to McDonald's seeing that we haven't eaten all day, I'll be back soon" he says and walks out the door

"Greatest idea he's ever had, I'm starving" I say trying to lighten the mood but no one responds.
These boys might not have been as close to Alexa as I was but they loved her.

I feel myself tearing up so I wipe my eyes but when I look up Liam is standing in front of me

"What's up Li" I say trying to sound fine

"I saw you crying " he mouths to me and I stand up seeing a tear roll down his cheek.

He quickly wipes his cheek and walks away from me towards his room

Zayn stands up ready to run after him but I stop him
"I'll go to talk to him babe, you stay here" I say and he nods and kisses my cheek

I make my way up the stairs and go to Liams room. The door is closed so I knock a few times and wait

I hear shuffling and then the door opens to reveal a red eyed Liam

He walks back towards his bed and sits down so I go inside and close the door. I make my way to his bed and sit next to him, and he tries to wipe his tear stained cheeks.

"It's okay to cry Li, you don't have to hide it from me" I say and smile sympathetically

He stops wiping his cheeks and let's his tears fall freely

I put my hand on top of his and he hugs me burying his head in my neck.

"it should've been me Liv... It should've been me" he says full on sobbing

"No Liam don't say that, Alexa loved you with all her heart. She wouldn't be happy hearing you say this" I say rubbing his back

He nods and we just sit like that for a while crying.

I look down after a while and see his eyes closed. I gently remove his head from my neck and lay his head on the pillow.

I get up and leave his room, close his door and make my way back to Zayn.

I get downstairs and the boys are watching TV
I go to Zayn and sit next to him cuddling into his side
He kisses my head and holds me tight

***30 minutes later***

"Babe wake up" I hear and feel someone shaking me
I open my eyes and see Zayn, I must've fallen asleep
"Babe Harry is back with the food, you haven't eaten since yesterday morning" he says and takes my hand helping me stand up

He leads me to the kitchen and I see the boys and Kimberly sitting at the island and eating. Harry and Kimberly are chatting and Louis is trying to throw food into Nialls mouth. I smile glad that they're acting normal

"Wait where's Liam" I ask

"I woke him up and told him the foods here but he said he's not hungry, which is strange because he hasn't eaten all day". Niall says

I nod and grab a plate and pile on Nuggets and fries
"I'll get him to eat guys don't worry, oh and Niall please don't eat my food" I say and Niall laughs

I go upstairs to Liams room and enter this time without knocking

I see Liam standing by his window staring off into space
I clear my throat and he turns and looks at me

"What is it Liv" he says going back to his bed and sitting down

"I noticed you weren't downstairs eating with everyone else so I came to see what's wrong" I say and sit next to him

"I'm just not hungry" he says and I nod

"Hey Li do you wanna hear a story, it's about me and Alexa"  I ask and he nods

"Okay so when we first met, we were both crazy about music and we decided to write a song about each other" I say and pick up a nugget bringing it up to his mouth and he absentmindedly takes a bite

"What was the song about, can you sing it please Liv" he says once he's done chewing. I nod and feed him more of the nuggets

I finish off and wipe away a tear

Liam wipes his eyes as well and smiles
" That was absolutely beautiful Liv "he says and I smile

" At least it got you eat "and he looks at me confused and looks down at the plate in my lap seeing most of the food finished

" What the- I didn't even realise "he says laughing

" That was kinda the point genius "I say laughing causing him to laugh too

" Thanks Liv "he says and kisses my cheek

" Anytime Li"i say and wake up and walk out of his room and back downstairs

"Did you get him to eat??" Niall asks worried
I show them the almost empty plate and they all laugh

"You're a genius Liv" Niall says picking me up and spinning me around

"I know I am, and my food better still be there or you're dead Horan" I say once he puts me down

He laughs and sits back down and I make my way to the kitchen
