"hello?" Vanessa answers her phone while getting into a cab on her way to a fitting for Versace.

"Hey are you busy?" a tired Timothée asks on the the other line

"um yeah kinda but I can talk" Vanessa says

"Okay cool so can you come over later?"

"Any specific reason?" She asks

"I miss you" Timothée says like a child

"Fine I'm sold, I'll see you at 6" she hangs up before he could speak and smiles to herself excited to see Timothée later.

Vanessa is at her fitting, when her phone rings. It's her agent Bethany.

"Hey Beth" She answers

"Are you dating Timothée Chalamet?" Bethany asks straight forwardly

"Don't lie to me I have a picture of you making out in front of me" she quickly says before Vanessa could respond

"Oh my god, what?" Vanessa shouts out confused, receiving weird looks from the people working around her

"The paparazzi got a photo of you guys kissing in front of your apartment, he was in a car and you look directly at the camera before you kissed him."

"Shit, that means they were hiding because I looked around before I did"

"What do I do? I can try to block it if you want"

"I don't know Beth let me call him and ask what he wants to do because my last relationship was ruined because it was constantly in the public eye" Vanessa confesses

"I know I know and I will take care of this, whatever you want just let me know"

"Thanks Beth"

Vanessa finished her fitting early and caught a a cab to take her to Timothée's. It was 5pm so the traffic was insane so she pulled out her phone and called him.

"Heyy, I was just about to call you, are you on your way?" He answered enthusiastically

"yeah I am, I'm just stuck in traffic so I think I'll be a while"

"Well I know I'm gonna see you anyways but I wanted to ask you if you'd like to come with me to the GQ party on Friday"

"Like as your date?" Vanessa responded sounding more upset and confused than thrilled like Timothée expected

"Yeah exactly as my date" Timothée responded excitedly

"Don't you think it's a bit soon? You know to go public" she responds getting quieter

"I don't really care about the public, if they know they know and I'm never really public with my relationships so doesn't it show that I really like you?" He responded kinda sounding like a douche but sentimental ?

"I don't know Timmy, I don't think it's a good idea" she responded softly

"Oh yeah it's okay" he responded disappointedly. There was a small moment of silence before Vanessa spoke

"Traffic is starting to pick up so I'll see you soon"

"Okay bye I'll see you" he sounded sad before he hung up

Vanessa was looking out the window of the cab and was admiring the odd beauty that is New York, she only ever enjoyed New York and hated staying and different places for a while. New York was her home and nothing could change that. A loud buzz catches her attention to see a message from Beth
