Philippines the land where I came from, it's good to be back.

It's been 5 years since I left this country my family, friends, lover and even my life. I breathe as the wind blows through my face. Ah, that fresh air, the sound of the birds, chicken and cows from the farm. Ito ang buhay na iniwan ko para lang sa pangarap nilang magkaroon ako ng magandang buhay. Without knowing maganda na ang buhay ko dito sa Pilipinas. Australia for me is tough, fucked me up real good.

I sat down on the hammock they built and swing till I doze off.

"Lesliy!" Nakunot ang noo ko I was in the middle of my sleep when I heard someone calling me. "HOY LESLIY!" thats it I woke up.

"The fuck!" She laugh.

"Wag mo ko ma- dafaq-dafaq ha!" She sat beside me. "Usog ka kasi kita mo nang may sexy na uupo." She grabbed her phone and took pictures.

"Aga-aga mo Teri nabwebwesit ako— aww!" She smacked me. "Para saan yun?"

"Wag mo ko ma-Teri-Teri, ano na dalawang linggo ka na dito sa Pilipinas pero andito ka lang sa farm niyo tumatambay. Tara na gala na tayo ready na sila oh" she click something on her phone and showed me text messages.

"Sabi ko sayo ikaw na magplano ako na gagastos." I close my eyes gusto ko lang matulog talaga, oo gusto ko ring gumala pero missing this kind of life I couldn't ask for more.

"Para ka kasing walang gana. Sabi mo kasi pag-uwi mo mag-i-island hoping tayo tapos mag-re-reunion tayong mag-babarkada pero hindi naman natuloy." Napamulat ako, oo nga pala I promise her that but I'm too lazy to move.

"Kailan ba? Magkano?" Bigla siyang tumayo at hinarap ako.

"Bukas 4:00 am. Sa Cebu tayo. 20k will do o sobra pa nga yan it's just the four of us. The usual we plan." Kinindatan niya ko.

"Wait it's kinda awkward pag-apat lang tayo tell the guys bring a plus one. Dalhin nila jowa nila, ikaw rin." Tumayo na rin ako at naglakad papuntang bahay.

"Hello wala akong jowa and you know do you really think sasama iyong isa with jowa? Duh her jowa knows you two have you know." I stopped walking at hinarap siya.

"Past is past never been discussed. Kung wala kang jowa dalhin mo ka fuck buddy mo. Simple." Tinalikuran ko siya at naglakad muli.

"Eh paano ka?" She said that made me realise ako lang pala iyong single sa barkada. But I smiled, face her and said

"I'm good all by myself nakaya ko nga all this years."

4:00 AM

Nasa van na ako kung saan nirentahan namin para ihatid kami sa airport. As usual I'm the early bird 3:40AM palang andito na ako. It's kind of a habit from Australia kailangan 10 minutes or more early ka. I forgot nasa pilipinas pala ako so you know Filipino time.

"Hey cousin!" I throw my cigarette and chew some mint. They never knew I smoke but I know it's too late kasi nakita na niya ako.

"You smoke now? That's new." I smiled and hugged him. "Geez you're so sexy now. By the way this is my soon to be wife Angel." Nakipagkamay naman ako at nagpakilala sa jowa niya or shall we say fiancé. They've been a couple since we graduated senior highschool.

"Wala pa ba sila? I thought on the way na?" I ask my cousin na barkada ko rin when we we're in high school. He was a half breed mammal. May lahing americano kasi.

"Yeah I heard, akala ko nga ako na ang late but I guess si Theressa ang mahuhuli." We high five we knew Theressa so much always late sa mga lakad since then.
